Yes that’s truealso was it a second medical you sent? one with the application and one when evidence requested?
That’s amazing! That means 2021 cases are happening now! HopefullyYes, it was and I made an Ombudsman request so they moved it field office. Field office was fast
It does! MSC21 series are finally being processed at a higher rate than MSC22 and MSC23 - which is much long-awaited justice and fairness and equal treatment to everyone who has been waiting for more than 2 years! That’s amazing! That means 2021 cases are happening now! Hopefully
2020-2021 applicants should just sue the USCIS if they can afford it! PeriodIt does! MSC21 series are finally being processed at a higher rate than MSC22 and MSC23 - which is much long-awaited justice and fairness and equal treatment to everyone who has been waiting for more than 2 years!
I hope everyone looks takes a look at the graphs here https://hilites.today/dashboard/MSC_LB/I-485
you can see the total on the left, and on the right the percentage/amount of each fiscal year at the national benefits center (MSC21, MSC22, MSC23). Those of us in the MSC23 who are worried or frustrated about the pace should see how many people are still waiting from 2021 and 2022 and should appreciate that there are tens and tens of thousands that have been waiting much much longer than us in the MSC23 range. I hope this puts things in perspective and helps everyone realize we are each just 1 among a HUGE number, and that those who have been waiting for much longer are those who have been treated unjustly, not us.
The USCIS suffered from major backlog because of understaffing and government shutdown - and not just covid - during Trump years. It’s not necessarily something they can control at all and it’s not just about Covid at all. The USA is still, by far, the country with the highest number of immigrants.2020-2021 applicants should just sue the USCIS if they can afford it! Period
This agency is the worst and they just need to be sued! When a country like the US can’t hire enough USCIS officers to adjust people cases then it’s their own mistake cause Covid was hitting the whole world but we never heard about backlog cases in Germany or Canada of the UK and there are millions of immigrants everywhere there too ! no country ever torture immigrants like USCiS does! No one deserves to wait for 2 years to get a green card! Sue them guys and force them take an action in your cases.
If you don’t mind can you please tell me when did you apply for asylum here in the US?The USCIS suffered from major backlog because of understaffing and government shutdown - and not just covid - during Trump years. Anybody can choose to immigrate to Germany or Sweden if they’d like, but making the decision to immigrate here instead requires patience and understanding. We know the situation and we chose to apply anyway. Otherwise, why not just apply elsewhere if we’re complaining all the time? And we cannot just assume that USCIS works for us in a silo. That’s very unrealistic and selfishly misleading to others.
I applied for asylum in June 2021.If you don’t mind can you please tell me when did you apply for asylum here in the US?
Haha you see now i know why you always defending USCIS with all my respect to you for sure but if you were someone who applied in 2015-2016-2017 and took 5-6 years to get interview then another 1-2 years for GC you will feel these folks frustration but when you’re only started the process since 3 years ago and soon you will get your GC then I don’t wonder now why people are defending USCIS cause they ain’t been waiting for 7-8 years only to get interviewed in asylum then Gc! Please let the people complain cause some other folks ain’t in their shoes to feel their pain waiting for years while other people came 3-4 years after them and now are citizens! Again USCIS is the worst agency and everyone waiting more than 1.5 years on their application should immediately sue them all the way! Simply they are the worst in everything by far!I applied for asylum in June 2021.
I was lucky to have a pro-bono attorney in early 2019 because of financial hardship but they advised me to postpone my application until after the 2020 elections.
So you basically asked me a question to prove me wrong? I am not defending USCIS. Who said so? Please read all my posts where I always express how unfair and unjust it is for everyone. And also, Green Card application is very different and has very different timelines and factors than asylum. They can’t be related or compared.Haha you see now i know why you always defending USCIS with all my respect to you for sure but if you were someone who applied in 2015-2016-2017 and took 5-6 years to get interview then another 1-2 years for GC you will feel these folks frustration but when you’re only started the process since 3 years ago and soon you will get your GC then I don’t wonder now why people are defending USCIS cause they ain’t been waiting for 7-8 years only to get interviewed in asylum then Gc! Not to prove you wrong but to show you that people like you who applied in 2019 and up ain’t in the same boat with folks who applied in 2015-2018!! So leave whoever wanna complain just complain and yeah you’re always defending USCIS all the time i don’t know for what ? But this is the truth! Where in the world that a country adjust cases by the newest ones not the oldest? These people In USCIS are just the worst and I don’t want to use a different description so that i don’t get in trouble ! Good thing that i convinced 3 people i know personally to sue the USCIS and me myself will do it soon if I don’t get my GC in 30 days from now! They deserve to be forced by federal judge to adjust your case in 60 days! That’s why they deserveSo you basically asked me a question to prove me wrong? I am not defending USCIS. Who said so? Your response is really toxic and offensive and you refuse to see the bigger picture.
That’s really not acceptable and not even rational. I am sorry but I will not interact with you anymore. All you do is spew wrong facts and negative energy that is frustrating and very anxiety-triggering, and all I am trying to do is to respond with calm and to address your answers in a productive way.
it is very very likely it will take much less than 26 months although each case is very different, the average processing time is less than 26 months. Hopefully you'll know soon! So many of us in the early MSC23 range are still in the "Fingerprints Taken" or "RRFE was received" status but every day more and more people who applied between September 2022 and April 2023 are getting their GCs approved!wait..! isn't it 6-26 months ?
Hello friend:
I had applied adjustment status dated on Oct 12, 2020. I had online request several times, congressman, senator and ombudsman too. Today’s ombudsman sent me a long email your case is within processing time and transfer to West Palm Beach field office. I had check uscis case status nothing update but when I talked with Ema: “Your case was transferred to the West palm beach field office on
6/21/2023. An officer last worked the case on 06/21/2023. It appears your case has been approved. Your card was produced on 06/28/2023.” I will double check by phone tomorrow.
I appreciate your kind words, and I sincerely hope that you receive your green card soon. The USCIS system is undoubtedly unjust, but when I consider the circumstances in my country of origin, I am deeply grateful for the life we have in the USA. We witness and hear about the immense suffering endured by people back in our homeland, which further reinforces our appreciation for our current situation. I can relate to your experience as my online status also reflects "Fingerprints are Taken."it is very very likely it will take much less than 26 months although each case is very different, the average processing time is less than 26 months. It's pretty messed up and unfair that there remain thousands of applications from 2021 and early 2022 that are still being processed, which is also affecting the process and pace for more recent cases unfortunately but that's the sad and absurd reality of how things happened.
Hopefully you'll hear good news pretty soon! We're all in this together! I applied in November 2022 and it's been stuck at "Fingerprints Taken" since early December. I am not worried at all, and I am not assuming the worst. I accepted how unfair and absurd this system is, and this acceptance made it easier for me. That's very hard and frustrating, and I am sorry you're going through it! We're all here for you.
That’s very true. I posted a while back that despite all the delays and wait times for so many of us, and especially those waiting for more than two years now, there’s so much to be thankful for. We can work and live here indefinitely, even while waiting for the green card; and we’re so lucky we were able to come here compared to very high numbers of asylum seekers that are stuck or rejected at the border and didn’t have the luck and resources to be able to come here like most of us did. I remain thankful and grateful for all the circumstances and resources. Of course hard work pays off, but we’re also very lucky. I hope people here also realize and appreciate that, and we can all agree that despite the unfairness and messed up immigration system, we can stay and work and feel safe even while waiting for the green card. This peace of mine is something I am always thankful for now.I appreciate your kind words, and I sincerely hope that you receive your green card soon. Yes not only you but i see it was redesigned and processing times now shows ‘all field offices’ vs separate officesis it just me or did USCIS revamp their "case status" page?
I hope this means they also revamped their process haha
