Processing time for green card based on asylum

Does anyone know what the minimum mandamus period is to get a GC? My friend applied a year after approval and it has been 3 months now. I asked a lawyer and he told me I can now. Is this true?

Can you please tell me the timeline of your mandamus for gc and what are the documents needed for that.
i applied for mandamus with an attorney and it took exactly 50 days to get the GC in my hand. just contact an attorney that is specialized in writ of mandamus, and he/she will tell you all the documents needed

does anyone know what the i-131 form question below means, I am in US, should I answer yes or no?:

"Are you filing for a Refugee Travel Document before departing the United States?"

if I say yes they ask me to write a statement the reason for leaving US, this is a new edition of i-131 form, did anyone recently apply for it and did you submit any statement with your application?

You should say yes and write the reason for travel.

Does anyone have a green card application interview scheduled by the USCIS? My case status was updated to Testing and Interview
My freind had an interview for greencard. He was on K1 visa before changing to asylum. the interviewer first told him it will take 120 days to review this but they got back to him the day after and approved his case. the interview was mainly around his first visa and they wanted to make sure it was not a froud.

Hi all

My asylum case was approved Aug 30th and my lawyer advised that I apply for GC after 6 months (i.e., March 1st), my concern with the new administration the rule to apply for GC before the 1 year may change. Now, I am confused what to do. Could you please advise if it would be safe to file my GC application before Jan 20th (that would be 4 months 3 weeks after approval)?

Also, what is currently processing time for asylum based GC?

Thanks

Your lawyer's advice was based on the current policy, and he assumed that nothing would change in 6 months (Feb 2025). In my opinion, you should file now which you are eligible to file it early based on the current policy. Once your application is accepted into their system, they will not cancel it once or after he is in office. The processing time is likely to take longer than the current pace, which is about 16 months and you should have already met the one-year residency requirement.

The best answer would be to consult your lawyer if you want to file it now instead of waiting until February 2025. You hired a lawyer to help you with the process! Utilize them!

So I decided to write a letter to Inspector Generals office, Washington, DC, with all the attached evidence that I have been connected (TRIG) to a group that I had no connection with and my i485 case is on hold for 25 years, my field office sent my case to LosAngles asylum office for Post-Asylum Eligibility Review after my 5½ hour interview 3 years ago with no progress after the interview, I received a call from USCIS after a follow up and they told me that they will sent my inquiry to LosAngles asylum office, the LosAngles asylum office now sent my case back to my field office for processing i485.
