Processing time for green card based on asylum

Isn't it always USCIS' practice to reject the application without proper fee from the beginning? If they accepted the application and issued I-797C Receipt Notice, your application was considered complete and will be pending for adjudication!

With the discussion above, I thought I was screwed for not paying the feel. I looked at my I-797C, and I did pay the fee:

Well, after searching a bit, here is the confirmation that the filing fee is required for asylees:

asylum approved in 2023, GC petition received (along with I-131 advanced parole) on 23rd August 2024, finger prints applied to I-485 on 28th August 2024, at National Benefit Center, then got message again that Finger applied to I-485 on 4th Oct 2024.. wondering why they applied finger twice so soon and if this a good sign or bad sign ?

Ya they rejected for improper filing. So what is the fee for kid under 14 years for i1485 asylum approved

fee waiver is available for Asylees in special conditions. Please see form I-912. If you meet any one of the conditions/criteria mentioned in the form, fill out the form, attach supporting proof/documents and send them with your application.

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me because my lawyer has been MIA. Last week I finally received my Travel Document (applied Aug. 2023), but my GC is still pending. Has anyone tried to travel? It's been 9 years since I applied for Asylum, and I am scared of leaving. If people traveled, do South American countries need visas or where I look up that info? Thank you in advance!
