Processing time for green card based on asylum

I would like to ask everyone, I was granted asylum on 08/2024. Can I apply for 485 immediately? If the 485 is reviewed within one year of actual residence, will it cause the 485 application to be delayed indefinitely? In addition, can the 485 application be submitted in the same package as the RTD application? Thank you
If they start reviewing your application within first few months your application likely be denied. I would suggest to wait 2 or 3 months and then apply

Hello all,
someone apply for I-485 in January of this year after being granted asylum November 2023 . The application was denied for not having presence 1 year after asylum approval. I guess is the first denial.

Oh no. Is it possible not to pay fee second time after denial? So the best strategy then not to file I693 with I485 and will have 3-4 months for flexibility?

Hi everyone,
If you are granted asylum do you have to pay a fee to file i485 ? I heard there is no fee for asylum seekers ?
You do have to pay everything
On asylum only the initial work permit is free

Fees for i-485 are only exempt for refugees not assyles

OMG my lawyer should know this. He filed without any fee stating there is no fee. What will happen now?
You'll most likely be denied. You should know this as well: it's your application and your immigration journey, not your lawyer's.

If you can read and write in English, why didn't you just file the form yourself? It's pretty straightforward. I don't understand why some of y'all prefer wasting money on lawyer fees when you can go on the USCIS website and see the list of requirements needed to file based on your category. After that, If you have questions or doubts, you can post here for assistance.
