Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hello! I know probably this have been talked here but I just want to make sure. I have my GC by political asylum, I want to travel just for tourism, it is possible to enter in Argentina with Travel Document? (I am planning to apply if I can enter there with this document) I don't want to use my passport because I don't know if is negative for my re entry. If anyone have done this (travel and re entry after use their own passport please let me know). I just want to make the things right :) thanks!
If you’re traveling with your refugee travel document, you will need a visa to visit Argentina (and if you do any connection/stop at any country, you will also need a visa to that country). I went to France with my home country passport. When I left USA and when I came back I only showed my travel document. I didn’t have any troubles.

Thank you! Do you know what kind of visa do I need? Even if my nationality it is allow to enter without visa? Sorry if can be dumb questions, but since I am here in the US I never have been out :(

What I did: I traveled with both my passport and travel document. When passing through airport control, I showed my travel document to leave the US. When boarding the plane I showed my passport (cause I don’t need a visa). When I left France I showed my passport again (because they have to stamp it that you’re leaving). When arriving at US airport I showed my travel document again. They asked me for my Green Card (which I am still waiting for). I went through the second inspection because they need to use a special stamp on your travel document. That was all! Some people say it is bad for you to travel with your passport. Some people don’t believe that. I never heard somebody had problems to become an American citizen because they traveled with their home country passport.

You're a permanent resident. You won't be denied reentry into the United States.

I never heard of ANY body having troubles for using home country passports. Especially when travel documents take FOREVER to be approved and are valid for only one year. But thank you! I know nothing is going to happen. You guys make things look like TERRORISM. That worldwide system you are talking about is for CRIMINALS. If you commit a CRIME then your picture and stats are going to be released everywhere else. But you all are grown men and women. Do what YOU believe is the right thing. Stop spreading terror.

is your answer based on something or you are trying to scare people? my lawyer with many years of experience confirmed that you can use your passport to travel. I am not going to say anything about traveling with your passport before you get your GC, but once you get your GC you can travel with your passport and you are not going to have any issues unless you go back home before you get your citizenship.

Guys, from what I understand, yes you can travel on your original country's passport but I think it is not recommended. So it is a personal risk, there is no hard rule about it.

dude !!!!any attorney tells you that means you need to change him!!! YES many folks traveled with their cop passport and got in troubles in the citizenship test i know 2!!!! using cop passport means if you go overseas and got in trouble this country will deport you to your cop passport not the USA so tell me now how you're supposed to go back to the country you kept crying for them at the asylum interview that if you go your life is in dangerous? if you don't know what you are talking about please don't spread misinformation
