Processing time for green card based on asylum

Thank you. I don't live CT I live in NY,do you have any idea this office is slow or fast?
sounds good that means your interview was waved! i have no clue how long it takes in CT but there was a member here she got it from CT i guess in 1-2 months since the case was transferred to there so hopefully you get good news soon.

Today guys I’ve got good news. Eventually my I-485 has been approved with latest update on web site as new card has been processed after 19 months pending.
Congratulations! Can you please share how much time it took between you sent medical and approval message?

Hello everyone, I'm the one who's having a pending I-730 and need help, just a question and please response me if you have any experience, regarding my case I just want to contact my congress man and ask for help but I don't know that if congressmen will help regular people or you have to ask for help with a powerful connection? honestly I don't have a connection and really helpless.

Most of my friends wait for interviews from 4 to 8 years in average. You are in the beginning of your journey if you are not lucky enough to get it faster

Mine was moved to CT too and was approved 3 weeks later - I live in Chicago. I did not sue. I applied with medicals in December 2022 and got it in August 2023, without doing anything. Every case is different for reasons we don't know and cannot control.

I found out about the transfer through the chat only. No updates about the transfer on my account. I really don't know if I can say this is fast or slow; some times it takes weeks, others months. it really depends and there's no particular reason. it's random and absurd, but it definitely means your case is moving forward and you'll get it soon!! :D :D

Wow so fast congratulations. Mine was 1 months move to CT and same like you only through Emma chat I know it they transfer my case. When I apply I send with medical together let's hope they won't let my medical expire before getting decision.

most likely you will receive your Green Card soon! It may take a few weeks or at most 3-6 months If you had a problem with your application, the NBC would not transfer it to the field office that is not in your city, so you are safe! Don't worry, your interview has already been waived, even if they did not tell you directly.
