Processing time for green card based on asylum

Well you're lucky if you get approved in 12-15 months. I'm waiting 18 months and nothing so far.
I have seen some timelines from Lawfully community that some people got approved within 6 to 9 months recently for people who have applied in 2023. Also USCIS has introduced a new cycle to complete most of processing within six months. Follow

Hi everyone, I have a question. I applied for my EAD and green card in spring 2023, but I still haven't got my EAD. Any idea how much longer it might take?

FYI my i-485 (GC) is still pending.

I applied 4/28 for EAD, I-131 and I485 nothing yet

Hello, thanks for letting me know. I applied from Indiana and I wonder if there are delays for certain states just like the asylum application.
Looks like USCIS back to their regular late processing times and 2023 was only exceptional! Hopefully you and everyone here on this forum get it before trump back to the office though cause this guy is cruel enough to even make these things move slower!

it usually takes 15-25 months but back in 2023 they were so fast finishing the GC for asylees some folks here even took them 6-7 months to get their GC approved but recently we rarely see people get approved and looks like they will be back to the old times again and make people wait for 20-25 months to get their GC in hands

Stay positive and you will get your GC soon.

If you can see the adjudication process is very very slow for the folks who applied after November 2022 like 80% of the cases still not adjudicated yet! That’s why i said looks like USCIS back to the old days when the Asylees were getting their green cards after 18-25 months!
