I don’t even want to comment on this nonsense) Each prosecutor reacts differently to a mandamus. Mandamus must be approached wisely so that, at a minimum, one does not respond to it. The person who left this comment was just miraculously lucky, nothing more)

My friend is immigration attorney and I’m realistic. U don’t know how many people filled a mandamus and were dismissed by prosecutors. I don’t say don’t try I just say don’t think guys that it’s a magic pill. Good luck
OK SO if you file writ of mandamus for nonsense cases like delayed asylum interview for less than 5 years waiting then yeah they might fight you back and it happens a lot cause then the USCIS will fight back hmmmm when you file mandamus you will get 2 options either the USCIS will push and move your case forward or they will decide to fight you back in the court and you get the option to either dismiss it or fight them depends on how strong is your case!!!! 95% of the delayed green cards cases the USCIS never fight back if it's been processing for 1 year and longer as the processing times on the USCIS website lawfully means nothing and the court don't take it seriously.
We had same situation months ago, and after putting much pressure on USCIS, they approved my husband and kid GC immediately.
This pressure could be right for pushing it or it could be just by luck i mean uscis doesn’t usually accept pressure or things like that you can do 10 inquiries and 10 expedite requests and still nothing change otherwise we would all get things on time at least i did 3 expedites and 4 inquiries and congressman inquiry and was calling them 3 times a week but in the end i forced them to get my GC when i only sued them! Maybe you think it came after pressure while it was already on the way to get approved

I’m trying to share with everyone here what I’ve gone through so they can understand the entire immigration process for obtaining i-485 and all the obstacles with it!!!I have every right to challenge the USCIS, as long as it’s not a threat! This is America, we live in America, and everyone has the right to express their opinion and criticize the USCIS’s inhumane schedule and treatment of all immigrants who have rights that need to be defended! I personally sued the USCIS and because of the rights that this country has given to me, I forced them to issue my green card instead of waiting years for them to show me mercy! God bless America! and USCIS can go to ****!
