OMG!!! congratulations!!!!
almost 3 years!!!! So so soo happy for you dear!!
I cannot even imagine the stress and frustration that this extremely long and unfair wait caused, but I hope this good news made up for that - even a tiny bit.
Please celebrate, go offline, and enjoy!!!!! hahaha congratulations!!! :)
Thank you! That was a long journey for sure :) So we'll definitely be celebrating today!

@ABLA87 you waiting on your green card or you have it.
I like your comments so positive and relieving what ever you wish for yourself may you have it.
thank you so so much for this; you are very thoughtful and kind!! I appreciate you.
I am waiting on my green card - I applied in December 2022 with the medical, and have been waiting.
I try as much as I can to not stress or get anxious. It's such an unfair and absurd process, and so many things are on hold and postponed until the GC is in hand. That's the sad reality. I know in my heart that I am doing the best I can. So many of us on this forum have been through so much pain and hassle and unsettling insecurities in our past and in the process to move and settle here. It's so unfair we had to go through this, but I am so thankful and so lucky I got to where I am right now. There's more to be done and of course the GC makes a very big difference in so many ways, but I cannot but look at the positive side of things, especially looking back on where I was before and where I am now. It's hard work, for sure, but I am so lucky and happy to be here!! I know we'll all get our GC, and I really hope we can all take a minute to really thank ourselves and those who supported/support us and also our luck for how things are turning out.
much love to you, and I really hope you're celebrating the GC news all month long!!! you deserve the best!

Now you like his/her positivity but 2 weeks ago you was crying on here for the delay of your GC lol you’re funny.
There is no need to be toxic and offensive like that - and you don't have the right to interpret people's feelings and moods through these hard times. That's insulting and this energy does not belong here.
Going through the green card is hard and different for each and every one of us; if someone was feeling down two weeks ago and today they feel better, there's no shame in that and there's nothing wrong. And it certainly is not your right to criticize someone's well-being and its ups and downs.

I’m not toxic i just don’t like how he/she was complaining the last 2 weeks about his/her delay of getting the GC and he /she was saying he can’t get house before getting the GC and things like that and now he/she says hey i like your positivity lol where was the positivity when USCIS made you wait for months to get your GC after submitting the i-693??? We don’t need positive or negative thoughts on here we need facts and actions cause Positivity or negativity wont change anything after all.

Hi! I Just received an email from USCIS (on my e-request filed in March) that my case has moved forward in the process. I checked my case status online right away and haven't seen any updates since fingerprints were received in 2021. I reached out to a live agent through Emma and they told me that my case was moved to a field office on 5/31. i haven't received that update on mail either. i was told it was moved to Portland field office. does anyone know what is the ballpark from here, are we looking up to 6 months, 6-12 months?

of course! yes I think the backdating is the only good thing about green card processing times hahaha. it's the least we deserve after waiting for a long time. I hope we all get good news soon, and please don't give up hope! :D
Any updates on your application my friend ?

You’re being very negative right now and you’re contradicting yourself. It’s totally okay to vent and to spread hope as long as it’s done with respect and without being toxic or pessimistic or overwhelming. Both things can be true.

Omg that sounds like a good step forward! I have no idea what this means in terms of timeline but at least it definitely means things are moving again!!

For a new member who supposedly joined the forum today, 8/10 @9:23am and first post @9:26am, you sure seem to know a lot about what is going on on this thread which is quite interesting, don't you think? Profile created for the needless purpose of calling other members out?

To be clear I was referring to how @ABLA87 replies to peoples concern over here. His comments are positive. I wasn’t talking about USCIS you misinterpreted my comment.

Whoever you are Be positive whoever you are negativity doesn’t bring any positive impact in life.
