Processing time for green card based on asylum

I got in touch with a chat agent and was informed my case was transferred to Hartford, Connecticut field office on August 7th - I did not receive a notice or see the update reflected online. I have no idea what that means but I am just sharing to confirm that the system online does not update in a timely manner, or not update at all, and sometimes your case is moving even when there is no movement you can see. Best of luck to everyone!! :D
That’s a great sign when it get transfer to field office . How do you get hold of the live chat agent ? Are you talking about Emma ? Or contacting uscis on a phone? I ask because Emma just refer you to the case status link and does not provide more information than what you see in case status link unless there is something that I’m not aware of but I would love to learn . Thanks

The status of this service request is:

Recently you contacted us regarding the status of your pending application or petition. USCIS systems indicate that we are actively reviewing your application, and nothing is outstanding at this time.

Your case has moved forward in the process. USCIS officials will determine whether an interview is necessary. If we schedule you for an interview, you will be required to appear in person at a USCIS office. We will send you a notice with the date, time, and location of the interview. If USCIS officials determine that the requirement for an interview may be waived, your application will be adjudicated by a USCIS Field Office in the order in which it was received.

My current case status is: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. My I-485 was updated 2 months ago by Nebraska Service Center. They also approved my EAD application in 5 months. I raised this service request before NSC updated my I-485 and approved my A05 EAD card. My application is now at the field office.

Hi! Sometimes the updates shown on the system are not the same as the ones you receive personally by USCIS in your service request or in a notice. Some of it lags the other, and vice-versa. The fact that the case is ready to be scheduled for an interview probably means you'll be interview in your local field office (even if the system shows your application is in another field office or headquarters) :D I would wait for a notice.
No matter what, it's great news it's moving forward!!

will the interview be in the field office? is it close to where you live?

Congrats! which NBC location or field office?
It was in NBC and transferred to a field office (not in my state) August 7th 2023. I only found out it was transferred through a live chat agent online when I asked about updates. They said it gets transferred to local offices to reduce backlog and that if it's transferred to another office that is not your local one, it means probably the interview will be waived (which was true in my case).

all of this to say that so many things can happen that do not reflect online. I hope everyone gets theirs as soon as possible!!

10th July, 2021 was approved.
15th October, 2022 sent my I-485 & I-693 forms.
10th August, 2023 got my RFE( requested for I-693 again), 14th august sent them new I-693 again.
Today, I got letter again in my USCIS account, that they sent RFE letter again.
I don’t know what they are requestiong again.
I will receive paper letter within 2-3 days, and I will let you know.
