Processing time for green card based on asylum

Congratsss. I just checked the same way and agent told me my case was transffered month ago ,to field office that is not in my state. So hopefully i will see something soon.
hopefully soon you get some updates but the theory that saying if the field office is in your state means you will have interview that's not true at all as many people their cases were transferred to local offices and got their GC without interviews, so the case transferred to your local office or to a different state office has no connection at all if you gotta have interview or no!! Emma live agents are limited on the information showed in front of them only tier 2 agents are the ones who have the whole info so don't take Emma live agents info way too seriously as they are known for saying bs and not accurate info at all.

So happy for you congratulations!! I also found out from the live chat that my case was moved to a field office on may 31, had been almost 3 months and i worry why it is taking so long in a field office. The field office is In Portland
Thank you so much!!!
Don’t worry at all about the field office transfers. They happen all the time and without sending notices or updating online unfortunately. I always say the system is out of sync and out of whack, lol, and it’s also out of touch with people’s lives - which is absurd, unfair, but true. If there is any chance you’ll get interviewed, you’ll be interviewed in your local jurisdiction for sure, no matter where your physical application actually is. If there’s an interview you’ll know for sure, but a transfer does not mean you will get or not get one.

I really hope you get your good news soon. It sounds like such a long and frustrating and nerve-wrecking wait - i am very sorry you’re in this unfair position. Much love and hope sent to you! Please keep us posted!

Yaaayy!! Hopefully yes!! Keep us posted!! I still very much hate how random and unknown and unfair the system is - I am positive you’ll get the good news you deserve sooner or later, no matter where it is! :D

It was in NBC and transferred to a field office (not in my state) August 7th 2023. I only found out it was transferred through a live chat agent online when I asked about updates. They said it gets transferred to local offices to reduce backlog and that if it's transferred to another office that is not your local one, it means probably the interview will be waived (which was true in my case).

all of this to say that so many things can happen that do not reflect online. I hope everyone gets theirs as soon as possible!
Congrats! Thanks for your valuable sharing.

I got in touch with a chat agent and was informed my case was transferred to Hartford, Connecticut field office on August 7th - I did not receive a notice or see the update reflected online. I have no idea what that means but I am just sharing to confirm that the system online does not update in a timely manner, or not update at all, and sometimes your case is moving even when there is no movement you can see. Best of luck to everyone!! :D
I agree. My online status was fingerprints taken; however, I was issued a biometric notice.

10th July, 2021 was approved.
15th October, 2022 sent my I-485 & I-693 forms.
10th August, 2023 got my RFE( requested for I-693 again), 14th august sent them new I-693 again.
Today, I got letter again in my USCIS account, that they sent RFE letter again.
I don’t know what they are requestiong again.
I will receive paper letter within 2-3 days, and I will let you know.
They sent me copy of RFE again, because I changed my address. But they already received my I-693, and changed status, that they received it. Now there is nothing shown on the my USCIS account. Did anyone have this experience after sending I-693 form.
