Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hi guy I just received New card is been produce, want to ask a question. My 1485 application got approved today 5:05pm, I just got the email but am yet to receive my wife and daughter approval, any update when they will get their 1485 approval ?
Congrats

Congratulations! Can you tell us how 1 year back for you bc you apply in December you say!?
it doesn't matter when the application was submitted; it has nothing to do with the date at all.

The GC is backdated a year from the date of its issuance. Even if it got approved within 1 month, it will still be backdated by 1 year. In a way, it "makes up" for the 1-year requirement between asylum approval and green card eligibility.

Today I sent my I-639 form again after applying 8 months ago. There is a new law: you have to send your medical record no more than 60 days before you get your green card. And right now they updated their form( it changed a little bit).

Did you send your i-693 without the asking for it?

I am not sure about a new law like that, and it won't usually affect things retroactively, otherwise everybody here who received their green card recently also received a new request for the medical before getting the green card, which is wrong.
I am confused about your statement that "you have to send your medical record no more than 60 days before you get your green card"
I am not sure I understand. They don't know the date when they will issue your green card in advance and nobody, even them, anticipates the timeline for your application. Otherwise, everybody who submits the medical record automatically gets the green card within 60 days...including those who interfiled. This doesn't make any sense. Can you please clarify what you mean or cite your sources?

no worries at all! we're all learning from each other :D
I think this means that you don't have to submit the medical file after signing it by the doctor within 60 days only.

Is there any way you can get in touch with USCIS or the doctor to dispute your charge? It's really unfair and messed up that they made you pay for the second medical file. It sounds like you did everything right and you shouldn't be paying another time. I am sorry this happened, but please keep us posted!
