Processing time for green card based on asylum

I sent e request 15 days ago no response yet.
Today i was able to reach tier1 officer, convo was very polite but not able to help me about my case. Told me i can place request in 2024 for outside processing time.
Does anyone know how to reach tier 2 officer? Tier 1 told me that is not able to transfer.
i don't think tier 2 officer will do anything for you cause you still in the processing time so you got 3 options! 1st to try to expedite if you have reasons for it! 2nd contact your congressman. 3rd is to sue them if you can afford it financially which is the fastest way!

Not sure why they asked for medical 2 months after i applied and then nothing for next 11 months. Hopefully something change soon.

contact your congressman asap!! yeah that's the longest wait i have ever seen for RFE Medicals!! i saw people get decisions after the RFE was received in days and weeks and months like 4-5 months but 11 months! wow just wow! contact your congressman.

Guys , I have a question … Can Request for additional evidence be only for the medical or it can be for different reasons and how long typically will take to receive the letter

Hello, Dakotaboy, I sumbitted the 485 application two months later than you. How do you get this reply? It seems that you got an RFE and not received any updates from USCIS? Could you tell me your way to contact the USCIS? Thanks!

Watch this video and once you get someone to talk to tell them your situation
I sent in my Medicals no update nothing yet that’s why I did e service request

Exactly! Guys no one waste their time calling them unless any of you didn’t get decision for 60 days and more after submitting the medicals or have valid reason to expedite which is very hard at the GC situation! Otherwise the agent will simply tell you that you’re within the processing time and most likely will be rude.

Hello!

It could be another reason if you sent the medical within the past two years or if the medical is missing a vaccination for any reason.

Other reasons can be very very simple and easy to manage such as more proof of 1-year residency or something else in your application that could need documenting such as employment or travel or family history. No matter what. I wouldn’t worry about it at all :) Let us know what it is when you receive it and most likely it’s a very simple thing they’re asking for! keep us posted and good luck!! :)

Hey everyone,

I know this thread might not be the perfect spot for this, but I couldn't find a better one to ask my question. So, since November 2020, I've been waiting for my asylum interview, and guess what? Nada! No interview yet! Any ideas on how to speed this up? I heard about filing a writ of mandamus, but not sure how that works. Do I need a lawyer for that, and is there a sneaky way to get it done without shelling out cash for legal help?

I'd be super grateful for any advice or suggestions you can throw my way. Thanks a bunch!

Some people are still waiting since 2015-2016 so don’t feel too bad as for USCIS you still newbie to them! Your only option is to sue them and it costs around $4500-$5k or if you have a reason to expedite it you can try to do it but it has to be a solid reason though! Like serious medical condition or your wife or kids are facing danger in your country (if you are married ) hmmm things like that! Good luck
