Processing time for green card based on asylum

It seems NBC receives all the cases , process them and distribute them to the field office to be reviewed and decided and then NBC will receive them back once it’s finalized . So the question is , is your field office located in the state that you are living and is it it closest office to your radius? Or it can be you are living in X state but the field office is in Y state ? Thanks

Mine was transferred from NBC to Denver Field office, I submitted it in CT, and currently living in TN.

Thanks for your share. I think the reason for this might be that it depends on which office is a little bit more available and then the NBC assigns the new case there. It's a postive sign of transferring the newer cases to more FOs. It reduced the pressure on the previous two offices and accelerated the progress.
 
Does anyone know after field office reviewed and adjudicated the case they will send it back to NBC for final approval and approval letter comes from NBC or field office request to produce green card and approval letter come from field office ?
Perhaps people who recently got approval can confirm that ? Thanks

All correspondence comes from NBC, nothing at all from the FO (Field Office).
Although, I do not know who the discretionary duty of approval is or whether or not it will be transferred back to NBC or if it will remain in the FO (Field Office) ???. But the elements listed below and other needed evidence in my case came from NBC
  • RFE
  • Official Approval (watermark letter)
  • CPO (card production order)
  • LPR card + welcome package (Lees production facility)
  • Or any other needed documents.

Hey,
I am traveling outside United States and right now my home country passport is valid for six months but when I come back it will be valid for 5 months.

So, my question is will I able to travel back to United States if I have less than 6 months. I did get my GC

I am traveling tomorrow. What should I do?

Your passport must be valid for 6 months or more for the airline to let you on the plane. If you leave with such a passport, you will have no way to return to the United States until you obtain a new passport.
International travel recommendations for all countries/airports require a passport to be valid for at least six months after the end of a trip. If your passport expires sooner than that, you must apply to renew your passport before leaving the United States.

I think this 6 month rule is for applying visa . I have heard that if your travel document / passport are valid for less than 6 months , the country of destination won’t issue you a visa if you are planning to travel to their country . But I don’t think when you come back You will be deny entry because your passport about to expire in few months . You can enter even few days before expiration if you have proper documentation . Please confirm with your lawyer , airline or other related agency before you travel . Good luck and enjoy your trip

it depends on where are you going, i know for sure that Europe accepts 3-months validation passports hmm i even went with my RTD to Germany and no one told me that you aren't allowed to get in and the RTD was only 2 months away of the expiration date!!! countries do that 6 or 3 months validation rule so that if you lose your passport or RTD you don't overstay there as the embassy of your country or where you permanently live take 1-2 months to process you travel permission to let you board on the flight back to where you Came from.
again, most of the world countries requires you to have 6 months only Europe requires you to have 3 months and sometimes they don't even care about that but don't Risk it anyway and call the embassy of where you are heading to and ask them just to be 100% sure about it.

I am not worried about going… I am worried about coming back to USA. But I guess it will be okay…

Not yet bro but i already did service request and i will call them next week too!! Iawfully app shows me some progress on the RFE cases though hmmm there were 15 cases where RFE was received now it shows 8 received decision in the last 8 days and 9 still RFE was received so maybe we get good news soon in the next 2 weeks hopefully!
