Congratulations my man!! wish you all the best.

What do you mean by not possible ? If no decision after 60 days after the RFE was submitted then you can do e-requests and also talk to tier 1 live agent! Congressman not usually gonna move your case! I mean looks like you’re not in rush for the GC so it’s okay you can wait! Never ever in my life seen someone got RFE and no decision yet after 8 months and just did nothing! Good luck.
I sent e request yasterday, hope that will change something. Do you know how to reach tier 1, any phone number or special instructions?

Tnx for help

You need to get into tier 2 immigration service but wait 10 days after the e-request was submitted first ! All the best

Hello, everyone. I found something very interesting. Applicants who filed 485 in the last 2 years, their cases will be initially underviewed in NBC. Then the cases will be transferred to the field offices for the final review. As for asylee based 485 applications, there are only two field offices: Texas/Nebraska service center. Could we ask Emma to find out whether our cases are in the FO, which roughly hinted the progress?

That was the case long time ago! Now NBC transfer the cases to every USCIS office in the country! No more 2 offices only specialized in the i-485 cases based on asylum!

Now it’s not these offices only. Mine was transferred to Buffalo field office, NY. I received RFE from this office.

It seems NBC receives all the cases , process them and distribute them to the field office to be reviewed and decided and then NBC will receive them back once it’s finalized . So the question is , is your field office located in the state that you are living and is it it closest office to your radius? Or it can be you are living in X state but the field office is in Y state ? Thanks

Hi everyone,
Do you know how long it takes to get the e-notification (i-1145) from the USCIS lockbox once the i485 package is delivered? Is it going to be days or weeks?
Thanks,
