so happy for you!! after all this time and hard work, I hope you're finding some time to celebrate!! :D woohooo!!!

Thank you for the kind information
they are mostly interviewing applicants who are in the backlog, from earlier years. While it's not a rule, most applicants in the current cycle are not getting interviews unless there are red flags. But we never know what the "standard" rule of interviews is, however the experience went for someone else. They could ask random questions or just fact-check, but it is highly possible you won't be asked for an interview if your application is sound! I hope this helps!! :D

they give you the deadline in the RFE notice they send you.
Thank you for reply. I understand that they will give me deadline. I just want to know from the person who received MEDICAL RFE and the time USCIS gave to respond. I don’t think same medical rfe will defer from person to person.

Thank you so much for sharing. This information will help for me and group members to safely apply for green card before one year without fear being rejected. So 9 months is pretty safe. Good luck to you

I was interview on April 21, the immigration told me <<After 2021 most adjustments of status asylee based will be interviewed>>. A very few won't randomly be interviewed.

No one knows how USCIS works, pretty much the way they want it to. Yes, mine was transferred, they sent a letter saying the file had been transferred to my local field office.

That’s not true at all ! That officer was full of bs. Asylum seekers before trump never had interviews for greencard then trump came and some folks got interviewed in his era but now only few people get interviews if they have red flags on the security questions regarding the i-1485 form.

that's true - that has been the "rule" so far. it would happen very rarely that you'd be selected for interviews.

yes, that's very true unfortunately for us! It's good to know that so that applicants adjust their expectations and not get anxious all the time about a perceived "delay." Hopefully the transfer will things faster!
