Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hi guys, i ve been waiting since november 2020 and recently ombudsman rejected my inquiry and told me that because my case is with national benefits center they won’t get involved because my case needs to be transferred to a field office to be processed by the book…

Mine is a month older than yours, 10 months old, has been piling up in a corner somewhere, full of ash I'm agitated
 
My file is in national benefits centers too since October 2020 and ombudsman accept my case and sent to uscis for jurisdiction.

That gives me hope maybe i should file another request… when did ombudsman send your case to uscis? Have you heard back ?

Hi! Could you please let me know how to file a request with ombudsman? I have been waiting since October 2020 too. Does ombudsman really work?

Ombudsman review my request for case assistance and contacted to USCIS dated on March 26, 2023. USCIS indicated that they require additional time to research the issue. April 19: Ombudsman sent follow up inquiry to USCIS office with jurisdiction over my case.

It’s easy to proceeds…
1) You need a reason with proof for your case assistance. Ie a copy of online inquiry with uscis why your case is delayed and they don’t respond on time
2) You can fill-up DS Form 7001 and attached all supporting documents as required.

I got same reply from Ombudsman that USCIS indicated that they require additional time to research the issue.
