Processing time for green card based on asylum

No i was not approved,

I was granted Asylum in September 2017
I filed I485 October 2019
completed my fingerprints in November 2019

Yesterday they updated the status on USCIS website regarding Request for Evidence. I am very worried about what will they ask, that's why asking here for other people's experience. did they ask you for any additional evidence?
Did you send the medical records ?

Take it easy ! They will not ask you something that is not standard or very challenging to obtain.
Could be Medical ?, could be a piece of information ?, a photo ? etc...
Just wait for the mail, and act upon it accordingly.

If you are refereeing to question 26a., my attorney entered Admission (I-94) Record Number during the entry to the US.
Thank you so much and yes I was referring to question 26a . Why couldn't we enter the new i-94 number ?

My attorney and I entered the new I-94 number.

the old I-94 is associated with your passport, which would determine the duration stay since the last time you entered; they can easily find your old I-94 since they have a copy of your passport anyway, and you already provided a 1 year stay documentation so it's not even necessary for that reason. That's all based on what my lawyer said.

Hi all,
I have been a visitor here for a while now.
Eherrera, even if he/she sent medical with the original application in 2019, they may be requesting a new one, because it's been more than two years, and probably expired. I could be wrong.

Hi everyone! I have a question regarding one of the I-485 questions, specifically the one about unauthorized work. While we were waiting for our EADs some number of years ago we had to work for a few months with no authorization. Now, I, obviously, have to say yes on that question and I'm wondering - has anyone heard about any negative consequences of that? How often does 485s get denied due to that issue? I'd really appreciate some feedback on that, thank you!

Hi All.

Has anyone here called into USCIS (InfoPass) to request to expedite the I-485 providing the humanitarian reasons (Family emergencies mainly) and had their request processed or approved? Or do we need Lawyer to file for expedite request?

Ombudsman experience: I had applied adjustment status, USCIS received date October 12, 2020. I had service request to USCIS why my case is delayed- no response. I had service request to ombudsman and they sent inquiry to USCIS. Do you guys has any experience how long it’s takes to respond by USCIS.

Any updates on I-485 processing time for cases starting with MSC23 ? Is the within 6 months processing rule still on ?
Anyone?

Thanks in advance

I can see is moving fast . Check this website?https://hilites.today/. When did you apply?
Yes , In general it shows cases are moving faster but it does not show you the basis of each case# . It will give you general information on all I-485 applications . We don’t know if asylum base green been treated the same way or processing time same as family base or other basis of green card . We don’t know if one office is faster than the other office , we don’t know the internal policy of each office. Therefore , it’s really unpredictable . When I talked to immigration lawyers , specifically the one has many asylum base green card , he has some cases are getting approved within 6 months and there are some cases more than 6months , maybe a year or Two .

Has anyone received Emergency Advance Parole for travel while their status was still Asylee and pending I-485? Thanks!
Advance parole is not for asylee or pending I-485. AP is for pending asylum cases (not asylee ) . You need to apply for travel document (RTD) . RTD is currently taking forever ( about 17 months ) and it’s very sad that the RTD cases are moving at slow paste . You can try your chance and expedite based on strong ground . However I’m seeing many 2023, I-131 cases are getting approved but 2022 are barely moving . I hope uscis are not practicing LIFO even for RTDs which is not fair for many people who are waiting for long time to get their TD to go meet their love one , family in third country

More or less, yes! But I wouldn't count on the range of your application number. All stats on hilites.today include all sorts of AOS/green card, not only asylum-based. There are so many applications well beyond my range that are getting approved, and so many others well before my range that are getting "fingerprinted" well after mine. The 6-month period is just a placeholder. You can find more insights about your case number/range on the hilities.today website but please keep in mind the caveat that all the stats and insights will still include all sorts of I-485, including family and employment-based applications. I am just sharing this because I also applied in December, and I know how anxiety can always creep in. Numbers make it worse, and we're all in this together. The good thing is that, in general, things are moving faster and with less restrictions.
Much love to all of you!! <3

Hi
