Don't keep the hopes up just yet. I actually saw a case that was right before mine and it was approved but mine still doesn't.
November 1 - case was updated to fingerprint

But still hope since they are trying to reach 6 months goal for I 485 approval. We should see if it's going to be true within next 3 months.
Best of luck to everyone!

I do not have any hope they will complete in 6 months. I see them they are approving before and after me but as you saying I will be just waiting.

Hope you will be approved soon. I waited 6 years to get interviewed. After interview it took 2 days for approval. They gave me call and saying they accepted my case. but right now I have no clue when they will approve this. Hope sooner for all of us

best of luck to you!!
I personally would not count on the timeline of other applications that were submitted just before or after. So many of the I-485 are not asylum-based, and they definitely have their own timeline and factors that are pretty much different. This probably explains why you'll see many within your range being approved, while yours is still in limbo. I am experiencing the same thing unfortunately. I hope this makes it easier because I know how hard it is to expect something moving based on what we can tell :/

I don’t think I will give any interview because I already got approved by IJ.

I think they will send me GC. Do approved asylee have to give additional interview?

I do not know your situation. If you have approved you might be good. But I heard sometimes they do another interview for approved assylee cases for 485.

I actually agree with you . These datas belong to all the cases on different basis and we are not sure if they will be treated the same way or which office has the authority over the asylum base cases and what’s their internal policy . Some offices might be faster than others . There are a lot of unknowns so we can not have 100% judgment but I follow a lawyer online who works on asylum cases and has 100s of asylum base clients , he was claiming that some of his recent cases are getting approved within 6months . But I believe not everyone is lucky .

best of luck to you!!

By the way, writing the mandamus is the only language that USCIS understands. It's worth its price.

It doesn’t matter if you got approved by IJ or asylum officer hmm if they want to interview you they will do !!! hmm some folks are granted asylum but have bars of getting the GC so we don’t want to mix the things up as it’s a whole different process.

Hey guys,

I have a question , Which I-94 number (i-94 during the entry to the US or after asylum approval) we need to enter in our GC application ? please do let me know and I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.

If you are refereeing to question 26a., my attorney entered Admission (I-94) Record Number during the entry to the US.
