The receipt says I will have to have my biometrics done again. They will schedule it within 90 days. I guess will have to wait for it. Any idea if one can get the passport stamped with that?

mine is not a pre-approved labour.. :)

pre-approved labour are getting security issues .. :eek: :confused:

pre-approved labour have lot of issues ... Please don't use them. :mad:

Congratulations.
Can you pleaes tell us... is it VSC or other service centers..
By the way, you need not go for stamping. It is my advise
I believe, now a days local offices are not doing stamping, unless it is advised by USCIS.
Let's wait for a week or two. Most of the recently approved people have been getting cards in one week to 2 weeks.
In my case.
485 Approved email came on : 04/01/06
Cards ordered email came on : 04/03/06
Cards received on : 04/07/06

Hi mywifelaborpain,

What are those issues? What is security issue when some one uses pre-approved labour? Can you please explain it? is that affecting the people who already used it and currenty in process? Any one who used pre-approved labour had any experiences? Please share.

how may issues do you want to know

I have so many issues to report.

1) USCIS know that this is a pre-approved lab, the employment date and the priority dates are different, they do a through check on the person who is using this kind of lab.

i will let you know all the issues tomorrow .. i have to go...

Dear Friend,

What are the issues with Sub. Labors?
Is it your experience / knowledge or else just a guess work?
At least I know five close pepple who used sub labors, since September'05.
Their 140s got already approved.
And two of them already got I-485 approved recently, within six months.
If there were accute problems, 5 cases will not get thru just like that.

People, for whom sub. labor based cases are in process, they will really go sick and scared to hear such issues like.... security and so on..
If you really have knowledge of any issues, please share with people..
It is genuine, others will at least get benefit out of that ....

PLEASE DO NOT GET OFFENDED. It is my request on behalf of the pending applicants. I know the immigration pain.. how it goes for years....

Hello mywifelaborpain,

In many issues to report, can you come forward and show some light atleast on few important issues? I hope you would help those who are waiting for GC for many years, since your posting scares most of the people who used pre-approved lab. and and their I-140, I-485 are currently in process.

If you believe your employer is clean and did not violate anything on labour subsitution rules while submitting your application, you should be okay. I know some of my friends also got GC through Substitution labour. Because of the recent fraud cases, they might closely look at the applicants.(NJ case). My case is also labour sub. Your comments are elcome.

SNagarajan,

Your version is correct and realistic. Someone cannot generalize their individual thoughts and views. There may be some hidden intentions, too. Sub. Labor cases may be critically reviewed, in light of most recent fraud case. As of now absolutely there is no problem with sub. cases, as long as there is NO violation of law. People, those cases are in pending or those still want to do substitution need not worry on sombody's commetns. They just need to make sure, Employer or the Beneficiary is not involving in any out of law dealings. It is my strong opinion out of general knowledge and awareness.
Of course I am not a legal authority or a lawyer.

just an fyi

98% of the cases which are delayed are sub lab.. just an fyi .... :mad:


sub lab average delay from 90 days to 360 days ..

Non sub lab average delay is 15 to 90 days ...

96% of the sub cases are approved . only 4% have been rejected so far.

Let me make it CLEAR -- Sub lab people should not panic, but have lot of patience ;) ---

Just that Sub lab cases are closely watched.
