Did the message change when the LUDs happened in March? The pattern of LUD change gives me a hint that it is approved internally on 3/23/06. At that time, your PD is not current but will be current on April 1. So they might just appove your case first then notice you today.

PD Mar (28) 2002 EB2
I 140 / I 485 ND: Apr 2005.
I 140 AD: July 2005.
I 485 Last LUD Nov 10 2005 Address change.

Spouse and Child:
I 485 Last LUD Mar 25 2006.

I don't know what is going on with my case.

Am I stcuk in Name check?

Anyone please give your thoughts on what's going on with my case.

I appeared to me that the approval determination was done on the 23rd - but just waiting for date to get current.

Most people have been posting concurrent approval for spouse, so just worried.

Not to worry. Spouse will get approved too. See my signature. My wife got her approval after a month. Just be patient and wait. Even if u call INS, they will probably give you vague answers.

I have similar history (well more or less) see signature...
 
Any one got concurrent approvals 140 and 485 in VSC?
Is two different officers approved your 140 and 485? Or same case officer?

Can someone throw some light on this

I am from India. My priority date is Oct 1998. (EB3). I applied for I-485 for myself, wife and 2 kids on Dec 22, 2005. I have done FP in Jan 2006. My LUD changed on 3/27 and 3/29 (along with my family's LUD Change), but no message change. How long would it take to get my GC. Since my LUD changed a few times and this is an old case (I-140 approved in 2001), will I get an approval soon. Any idea?
 
Looks like there are lot of EB3 old priority date (1998 - 2000) 485 applications pending in USCIS.

sreesai9, your I-140 approved in 2001 and you applied for 485 in Dec 2005 ? :confused: . Understand your PD is 1998 but your RD is very recent but you may get approval if your name check is completed.
 
yes, I applied for I-485 in Dec 2005, as I had left the company after I-140 and was rehired.

How do I find the status of my name check?

Hearty COngratulations!!! Can you post your details here. Did you have any LUDs? Also did you happen to call VSC about Name Check and if so what did they say?

I am afraid that a bunch of us have got their name check completed but VSC is just too lazy to update their systems and out applications are hence sitting the wrong bucket ie Name check not completed bucket.

At last, the journey ended successfully. It has been 6 years.
One labor in 2002, another labor in 2004, another labor in 2005.
Everytime there was a trouble.

At last, it has been successfully came to an end. I have received my Green
Cards (including spouse)

I'm 1st time here, though I'v been reading a lot @ night. :eek:

My PD: 4/30/2001 Other Workers (EB3???)
Weird thihg my case was transferred to Federal Plaza on Sept 2004,
but I'v had an interview in Garden City on Nov 2005,
Received aproval From Garden City on 4/7/06 (dated 4/4/06).

The aproval says: :p
**IF YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR GREEN CARD, DISREGARD THIS NOTICE**
Your application for status as a permanent resident has been approved. Please come to the Garden City I.N.S. office on 4/28/06 at 1:00:00PM for I-89 processing and/or passport stamping.
Bring this notice along with your valid passport and Form I-94 (Arrival/Departure Record). Ask for any 245 District Adjudications Officer.


My online case status still says: :confused:

I hope that with the retrogression on May my case will not be affected.

I485- RFE issued 01/20/2006 received 02/07/2006
I485- Approved 04/09/2006. received receipt 04/14/2006
The receipt says I will have to have my biometrics done again. They will schedule it within 90 days. I guess will have to wait for it. Any idea if one can get the passport stamped with that?
