Philadelphia Transfer Cases

i think maybe because in NY and NJ, they don't stamp PP anymore, so they took their I-94 right away, in Philly, we need get our PP stamped, they will take it when they stamp our PP, but this is just my guess, i dont know for sure.
 
Hi people, what’s all this commotion about I-94? When I was interviewed there was no mention of I-94 at all, and I know several people who had been interviewed at Philly local office too and they didn’t request their I-94 either, so I’m assuming that Philly office does not require I-94 at the time of interview. Also, I got an automated e-mail response from Senator Specter today (nothing from Senator Sentorum), other than that sadly, there’s no good news yet. I don’t go anywhere near the mailbox anymore, it will drive me crazy. Maybe it’s better to try and not think about our approval letters, let’s be optimistic.

no letters for me and my husband either, i think the Philly's clerks are too busy to typing our letters, maybe we could receive our letters together in a same day, BTW, nina_c, are ur friends who interviewed in Philly all get their approvals?
 
no they didn't recieve their approvals yet, they had their interview about two months ago, and now they're just waiting like the rest of us.
 
i had my interview in Jan., and my PD became current in Feb., i wonder why they arrange my interview in Jan. but not in Feb.? just want me suffer twice? did ur friends PD become current in Feb. or Mar. ?
 
well nothing for us today either, i am becoming very hateful towards postal office :( i am praying for tomorrow though!
 
got a phone call from my friend who live in NY, said some of her friends got their interview letters recently, seems NY start doing sth. finally, when should PHILLY, or they just be very slow to the cases have been interviewed.
 
who knows...if tomorrow I am not getting anything I am going to call that number again. That's what he said I should do if I want to talk to him again...I don't know what else to do...just sit and wait I can't anymore...:((
 
yes, i will call the number again on Monday, maybe we can push them a little bit by doing that, actually that's the only thing we can do, last time we went to the office, the officer told us u will receive letters within 30days, but she said that's what she can say, usually we should receive a letter next week (this week now)
but nothing happened, i'm not sure what's going on.
 
every single day for the past weeks, I wake up in the morning and I ask myself if this is THE DAY....same question every morning...and my stomach is all curled up until I know the mail came....with no news....same story today...nothing...I think I reached the bottom of despair today...I had my hopes so high that today will be the day...and it's not :(
 
we should do what nina_c said: we should try to dont think about the approval letters, i know, but i just cant help myself.
 
Hi people, any news? I called the AOS number again, Im waiting for them to call back or send me written notification or something. j_j2001 did they call you back from Philly office yet?
 
no, bamba said it took almost 2 weeks to get her response, but they do call back , just take some time. i will call them again on Monday.
 
APPROVED hopefully!

breaking news guys!!!!!! lawyer called me today, said she got a response back to one of her emails requesting status and the email said our cases are approved. I will take the passports to her tomorrow and Wednesday she will take them for stamp...still can't believe because we did not receive anything in the mail neither did she....just that email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
hope we can get some response soon, ur lawyer is really good, ours just told us wait. enjoy your freedom! your approval really give us some hope!

I cannot wait for tomorrow's mail to see if something comes in....i guess the department that sends the letter doesn't work as fast as they should...i need to see it black on white to believe it...it will be ok in the end don't worry!
 
woooow, congratulations, I'm really happy for you, thank god it's all over for you. I envy you so much (in a good way). This really gives us hope, maybe we'll hear some good news too.
