RIR cases getting issued NOFs

It is right. Philly DOL has gone into issuing NOF mode.

My case got delayed in Harrisburgh due to frivilous reason. Our company had filed 4 more cases along with me. They were all certified in November. My case was taken up Philly DOL on Jan 28th and got issued NOF. My luck is not good. If mine was along with others it would have been a different story.

Now I can expect hurdles at all stages until getting the GC.

I have experience with Australian immigration and Canadian Immigration. I was once a Canadian resident, then a Australian resident and currently an Australian citizen. Both the countries are straight forward, no ambiguity and no law of averages at work. I would say the US immigration is all about being lucky there is no rhyme or reason for the consequences.

A big disappointment after being made to wait for over 7 months.

My case moved from DE to Philly

My case moved from DE to Philly on 02/06/2003. please add me to the list

Hello friends,
Just trying to figure out how many people are waiting from the above company. Please share your status if you work for this company.

thanks,

Just send to LCSTATUS03@doleta.gov e-mail with the empty subject and the following body:
Employer Phone (xxx) xxx-xxx

(main phone of your company instead of xxx, of course)
and you will now everything about statuses of everybody who managed to get to Philly DOL.

CERTIFIED....
I just checked AVM and learned that my LC is
certified and was posted on 2/10/2003. My details
are in Spread-Sheet(I would appreciate if someone
can update my details as I'm using a UNIX machine
which can not read excel files!) My case was filed
from DE, transferred to Philly on 11/19/2002, Software Engineer, no NOF at Philly nor at DE.
I was worried as I've seen many news on this
thread that Philly is going to NOF mode. That is
not true as mine was certified and hopefully all of yours will be certified without any problems.

Great news congrats

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Its good to know that DOL is not just rejecting cases. There is hope for approvals. They seem to be moving faster on cases with certain case numbers. It seems to be associated with the category the case is filled under.

keeping our fingers crossed for the rest of us.

11/19/2002 107 3/6/2003

I think we need not to worry about cases until we get closer to those dates unless incases where some miracles do happen.

let's hope for the best.

Hey Slave,
Are they dates for Non-RIR ?
Mine reached DOL Philly on 9/12/2002.
Any idea about the time for Non-RIR Categories ?

RIR Denied...

Hello People:
I found out last evening through the Automated Phone System that my RIR was denied. RD at DOL: 12 Nov, 2002 with DOT Code: 030.162-014 for EB3. Out of the 23 cases filed from my firm, this is the first one to get a denial. It took them a year and a half to just plainly deny...
Does this mean that I have to start all over again? I know that a few users of this forum have been denied too, what are you guys doing now? Can I appeal against this denial? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

RAKADH...

Don't worry.. You will not have to restart the process. Since RIR is denied, DOL will now send your case back to State SESA and ask them to process it as Regular.

This should take much less time than having to wai for the whole process again.

Check with your lawyer.... He should be able to direct you better.

Good Luck !!!

I'm giving up

nyte_crawler,

My case is EB3 NRIR and its going to be more than 300 days now. Received in the regional office on May 5th and still not approved.

I tried to ask in the fourm before if there are any NRIR approval and there is only silence.

Congrats to everyone who got approved.
