DOL Update

Hi,
I checked the Auto Phone System on 10/28/2003 night and learnt that DOL has certified cases received up to 10/21/2002.....

RIR denied

Today morning I checked voice message. The message is "RIR denied"
Receipt date: 08/16/02
Did any body faced these kind of situation? Please clarify what is going to be the further action I need to take?
Thanks and waiting for some body's suggestion in this regard.

Which number did you call to get the information? Does that mean all the cases before 10/24/02 are either denied or certified.

Hi LCSilence,
The automated number is 215-861-5286.
Choose Option 1 and then select the option to search by Case Number.
The answer to the second part of your question is not in my knowledge. There are still some cases that have been received in Philly DOL before 10/21/02 that have not been updated (either certified or denied or nof).
So, its anybody's guess.

Labor approval notice.

Hello all -

Received a notification from HR that labor has been approved by DOL. Although it was approved a few days back.

RD - Oct 4 , 2002
AD - Jan 17, 2003.
EB3 - Software Engineer.

Filing 140/485/AP/EAD together today. H1 expires sept 2003, So I will be applying for H1 extension also in april. I am not sure if there is a premium processing in h1 extension, any body knows about that ?

150 days in DOL and no status yet?

My Application for Alien Employment Certification was sent from VEC to Philly DOL on August 28, 2002 for processing.

Philly DOL recieved this on Sept 3 2002.

Current Status states: Recieved Regional Office on Sept 3/2002.

I checked it via the email retrieval system!
Since I have called the Automated Phone Retieval System and entered it by my case number!

It still states: Recieved Regional Office on Sept 3/2002 as current status.

Why would it be held up this long?
****They recieved it 150 days ago!****
Should I contact someone or is this the norm!
Who should I contact? I would like to know that it is at least proceeding in some manner!

150 days in Philly DOL (RIR)

Sent to philly dol by VEC on Aug, 28th 2002!
Recieved in Philly DOL on Sept, 3rd 2002!

Case is RIR!
150 days in Philly and status still: Recieved in Regional Office on Sept, 3 2002!

Probably you want your attorney to call DOL. Most cases in September and early October seems to have been approved -- but the official processing time is still 08/02.

Folks finally !!! my attorney confimed that they have received the hard copy of the LC approval notice.

I have uploaded the phily DOL tracker excel file. Please update this and keep it updated in the forum so other could benefit from this info.
