Thank you. But shouldn't you have one single background colour for EB3 category? My suggestion is to have background colour by EB category. The font colour is by EB category. Just a thought.
 
EAD Approved

Today randomly checked EAC0400550781 ( filed on OCT 7th ). got approved his/her EAD on JAN 13th. It seems finally they started OCT cases

Good job in adding some additional summary columns. One more suggestion - we should leave those columns blank if not approved yet, and mark n/a only for those who haven't applied for EAD or AP.
 
hey guys its our time now to post goody goody news.....boy there are so many threads now......i guess everyone is posting questions and wants answers.....instead they should just follow this forum and they will get all answers....

now i am posting this because i want this thread to be on top now....so guys pump up the volume with EAD approvals........prathikb what happened man....u r next in queue for the approval.....:D :D :D

yeah man....even i m waiting for it. just checked the scan and it seems my case is close....should get approval atleast by end of next week. may be earlier.

Guys,

By the time we wait for our buddies approval let me post a question here....... Earlier it was serial processing that is... apply for I-140 and once its approved apply for I485.

In that case, the I-140 is already approved before we even apply for EAD and I-485.

But in my (our) case we applied for I140 and I485 at the same time (parallel processing) so there is a possibility that (always) the even after the EAD approval and I-485 waiting period of 180 days the I-140 doesnt get approved.

If that is the case, then can an individual switch a company once the waiting period passes even if I-140 dont get approved? also can an individual's beneficiary (spouse) also work once EAD is approved? (before I-140's approval) ?

Your answers are greatly appreciated!

If you scanned and found any changes in October-2003 results. Please do post.

And all of us can breath better.

Here is two RFE cases found on October -28 reciept date.

According to the most recent memo concerning AC21 portability, you have to have an approved I-140 and 180 days after filing I-485 before you can change employers. Yes, spouses can work once EAD is available regardless of the current status of I-140. Correct me if I am wrong...

i m answering ur 2nd question first.
spouse can work on EAD even if I-140 is not approved.

there are lot of discussion on whether AC-21 can come into play if u have filed I-485 6 months prior and I-140 not approved. my lawyer said I can do that. but since i am not planning to quit my job i didn't ask this in detail. will ask him if this is possible next time i speak to him in couple of days and let u know. again don't take my advise blindly and consult a lawyer till i speak to my lawyer. my lawyer is one of the leading in state of NJ so whatever he says will be true.

EAD and AP

Hello, is there a way we can only scan for EAD and AP, also my notice date is 11/06/03 and i filed for I-140/I485 together (EB2) can someone please update the sheet thank you.

Good to wait until I-140 is approved. Because, employer can always withdraw I-140 application. And you don't want that to happen. right..

Your spouse can start working right after he/she gets EAD.

I am not planning to switch..... but want to be sure about the laws before any critical situation arrives.... I will also ask my lawyer about the same and post it in the forum....
