Oct cases pending

I called IIO yeterday and the answer was rude.

I asked her : Has the case been assigned.
She said : No

I Asked: How come when I called about 2 months ago, they said it was assigned?
She said: You work in an office isn't it?

I said: yes
She said: Well do you know what files are there on your collegues desk?

I said: Obviously no.
She said: Its kind of like that.

So from the whole conversation what I understand is that there is no particular basis for there responses. It only depends on there whims, moods and as somebody was saying PMS related.

Got RFE

RFE issued on primary applicant on 4/7. RD was 10/19. Wait to receive the RFE letter. Will keep you guys updated.

bikebaba, what is your RD?

I am monitoring some 20 cases with RD 1st Oct, 2001 and I saw two of them approved on 4/9/03. Once of them was RFE and the other one was clean.

I hope I get the good news soon as well. Otherwise, I will have to do the FP again.

Can be all OCT filers.....

Can be all OCT filers write to someone together at INS, VSC…or in DC

How long we will be sitting like this and writing to each other...??? It will not help us.....individually talking to senator or congressmen wont help....instead let we all contact to someone in INS office.... or anyone in DC…or AILA…..
Any suggestion...??

No RFE

Called IIO 3 weeks back. Case Still not assigned to officer and she expects that it will be assigned in another 10 days. Didnt want to argue with them as there is not much use out of it.

But now i am growing impatient. Can I call IIO again? Will they keep track of how many time we call.

One more observance, all who are waiting for approvals (oct, 2001). Is your last five digits of your EAC number greater than 54xxx, I am just trying to figure that there must be some logic why these cases are gettign delayed.

Good luck everyone.. Hopefully we will not wait longer.
