The only fax numbers that I have are the same as you listed.
They seem to accept a fax only during office hours.
Usually, these lines are very busy, but it depends on the day or timing (?).
You can try later or another day.
Or you can send your letter at post office.
Also, I recommend to send it to your House of Representative.

However, we don't want such a prediction or an expectation from CSC, but we need a commitment from Don Neufeld, Director of CSC through several Congressional offices.
Anna Eshoo (D CA 14th) and Mike Honda (D CA 15th) have written to Don Neufeld.
Now, I am working with Senators' offices, Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein.
Let's accellerate Project Ocean until we get Don Neufeld's commitment through several Congressional offices.

I am one of Employment based (EB) I-485 applicants suffering from the current processing delay at the California Service Center (CSC) of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), and also a member of one of the largest legal worker's online immigrant community -- ImmigrationPortal.Com.

The backlog of EB I-485 reached almost two years at the CSC, and it has been still growing. Security Checks are always used as an excuse. However, Naturalization backlog decreased 11% compared to one years ago. I wonder if it is really a matter of Security Checks. Not only Naturalization, among major types of applications at the CSC, only the EB I-485 backlog has been significantly growing. It must be the discrimination by the U.S. Government against innocent EB I-485 applicants such as legal workers paying tax and their dependents.

Could you please write to Don Neufeld, Director of CSC, to allocate adjudicators dedicated to EB I-485 so that the backlog would not grow more than two years ?

Sure Kashmir. My only concern is 'weekday' because of work. Do you know if the congress offices are open on Saturday? If not, its ok we can work it out over the weekday, may be early morning or evening.

Actually I would like to come, unfortunately I am out of town for the long weekend and will be back on only sometime in the afternoon on the 2nd. But any other day of the week, I should be able to make it.

Hi Kashmir, 140_takes_4ever,
I called Tom Lantos office yesterday to know if they received my mail. They said we'll check and get back to you today or tomorrow.
I did get the call in 30 mins after that and spoke to the immigration specialist for more than 20 mins. She was very polite and very detailed but they could not help much except following up on my status. I explained her about the problems we all are facing. She knows about the backlog but at the same time she said that the votes would be against us considering the general public opinion. They are working towards speeding up the naturalization process but I-485. She explained me that immigration ain't easy anymore and rest you know...............
Yes I was disappointed to hear all that their office has just received only 1 mail so guys I think I should've expected those answers. If they see 5-10 mails like that might get their attention that's what she told me. Unless any congressman or senator sees the strength how can we expect somebody to help us. If there are 3500 people who can sign the petition, why can't we mail the letters already written by helpful people here.
Bottom line if you don't ask for help you won't get it and don't read these mails about 6 months or 1 year of I-485 processing, they're just pacifiers. So friends untill you fax/mail your request to senators, directors, congressman you'll keep waiting of years(atleast 5-7) for the people who filed in 2002 and 2003.
If fax/mail won't help of course some smart people would come up with some other ideas but right now I think this would work if they see that people are proactive and are taking action.
I'm ok for Wednesday but don't see a point unless there are handful of people from 12th dist.

Thanks for your updating the status.

It's very good not only faxing or mailing but also calling directly to the office.
Also, visiting the office or attending the town hall meeting is much better.

I will fax my letter and the petition to San Mateo office later.
