If you have given US address in P3, just send an e-mail to Chennai consulate requesting to send P4 to Indian address. they will send an e-mail back saying they will update the record for local Address..

OK. I got three now sksquare, kms and vishi123 ..still one more guy whose P3 sent to

chennai bt. 13th and 19th is there I believe that guy is Gopal in cptracker..

Vishi123,I am also thinking the same. According to madras site they schedule the next month Interview by 15th of the current month. all ours cases have reached in chennai before april..

I am praying to get may interview date..
 
2002gc , here are the details...

I-140 approved 12/11/01
P3 mailed date: 2/4/02 (54 days)
P3 received be NVC: 2/14/02 (10 days)
P3 review done :3/11/02 (25 days)
P3 sent to chennai : 3/19/02 (8 days)
P3 received by chennai(enterd into system) : I think it is on 28th or 29th of March.. (around 10 days)
 
dodda, there might be lot more than just 3 of us

i mean not all folks visit these forums or sites. on an average i
think chennai usu has around 60-70 emp. based IV interviews and
they happen in latter half of the month. so i wouldnt keep my
hopes on interview in may, but i pray it to be over quickly.

I know the guys who watch this forum everyday and do not want to share their info or experience.

I called Delhi yesteday........

case not received yet. Packet3 from NVC was mailed on 3/19/2002.
I called around 11-11:30 and got thru in 10 minutes.
 
desert_boy and CANiGETgc ! It does not take so long to reach delhi..

I believe they are simply delaying in entering into the system.
Anyhow all the best and pray to get a may date..

Since most of the cases were forwarded on 3/19, chennai cons. entered in their system and delhi did not do it yet. Hopefully this week they do it.
Desert boy.......try calling them tonight. Tel # is 419-8062. Other #\'s go to automated system.

I just received email from chennai, saying possible interview date is in june. what is the point using CP, if this takes so long.

I am really frustrated.

The historical pattern has been that
Chennai schedules interviews as follows:

If your P3 was entered into their system
before the 15-18th day of a month, your
case "made" the deadline, which meant that
your interview would be announced on the 10-12th
day of the following month (which, of course, means
that the actual interview would be the next month,
because interview announcements are made for the
following month).

For example: If your P3 was entered in their system
on the 10th of month M, the interview date
would be in month (M+2).

If the P3 was entered on the 24th of month M, the
interview date would be in month (M+3).

This was the *historical* pattern, don\'t know if it
still applies; but it may be a reasonable guide to
use when we estimate our interview dates (and hope
for the best!!! :) )
 
talk to NWD consulate last night. Pkt3 still not arrived

yet. They said that they are expecting it very very soon. I doubt we can make May now. My pkt3 was sent to them March 19th
