folks, let use this thread to track Packet3 from NVC to consulates
and any issues arise during the process. this would help folks a lot
and get a feel for timeframes for and understanding of new process.

what is the best time?

all, what is the best time to call consulates (india specifically)
to track pkt3? and pkt4 generation? etc.. all.

I do not have birth certificate, just affidavit from my parents is enough ?

What else do I need ?

Did they say what date the file was moved to the consulate.

I am guessing that you got the notice on the 17th. Did they say when the file was moved??

keep your high school (board exams!) and school leaving certificates too

These will have your birthdate specified on them and are attested by your school. Make sure you can get notarized copies. I believe the consulate will accept these as additional proof of birth.

Where do you guys get the ND for NVC, case created in nvc date, p3 sent that is entered in cptracker

 
 
NVC Case sent to NWD consulate on March 19th via DHL.

The operator also said that they will sneding out a letter notifying my attorney.
