November - Visa Revalidation Tracking

I used UPS, and also from my Client place (Citibank) every one used UPS (it is very less cost for Citi Employees) and got their passports stampped. Don't worry.

I called them few minutes before.
SL Date: 4th Nov
DC Date: 8th Dec

And yes one more thing,
when I asked what dates are you currently processing,
she said 4th Dec and
then she continued with 12 weeks story as on web site.

Approved!

Spoke to DC this morning at about 10:00 a.m... was told that the visa has been approved this morning and sent for printing. Finally!

Does anyone know how long it takes for printing/QA to dispatch? What are the chances that it will be dispatched this evening so that I can get it tomororw afternoon or so (I sent a FedEx overnight airbill)? I have tickets for India tomorrow night, so this is really touch and go, but will have to cancel the tiks this evening unless I see that the pp is dispatched.

Would hate to cancel the tiks and find that the visa arrives. Do they deliver on Saturday?

Does anyone know if Air India tiks can be cancelled on a Saturday when the ticketing offices are closed?

At one time, I went to AIRBORNE and picked the parcel on Saturday

curently its taking 1 business day for printing. mine was approved yesterday and hopefuly it will be picked up by fedex today. even if fedex pick's up your package today they wont deliver overnite to you tomorrow(saturday) unless you have explicitly requested saturday delivery. They do not entertain pick up in person before 1st delivery attempt is made... sorry but looks like you might have to postpone your travel. another option is wait until end of the day and if you see any tracking info call fedex and request them a change to the shipping options and ask them to do a saturday delivery(extra $10 charge) plus an additional charge is assessed for change in information.

I am hoping it gets dispatched tomorrow since it was sent for printing in the earlier part of the morning. DC asked me to call again end of day and check on the status.

Just an FYI for the group.. AI said that cancellation charges would be around $125 before the flight; my travel agent expects to charge around $325 (ouch!). Tickets can be cancelled anytime, with an AI worst-case 'no show' charge of $ 200 (plus whatever extra the agent may charge).

I think I did request Sat delivery on my FedEx airbill, but will follow-up on that once I see that it is dispatched.

Guys,

For those who got approval yesterday, have you started getting any fedex tracking info? Hope this printQ and QA should not take more than 1 business day.

I tried today, but the lady I spoke to refused to give me any details.

Mine was approved Feb 05 before 11 am . no fedex tracking info yet. might be in transit by the end of the day

My SL Date is 2nd November 2003. Just called the DC office and the lady asked for my passport number and date of birth and said it has not been approved and when I asked do you know where in the process it might me, she told me that she don't know. On this post I have seen people whose SL date is after 2nd Nov getting their passports. Any ideas how long it is going to take before getting the passport.
