November - Visa Revalidation Tracking

So you think it is possible to take >60 days for them transfer to DC? it is nearly 70 days, my case is still not arrived DC

I am not an expert but it is also possible they might have entered your PP no wrong .. or the person answering you might have not even checked the database and said they could not find it. I dont know if its advisable to call and check again

thanks for the reply. I called them many many many times, and the answers from them are the same. Someone also searched the database with my name and birthday, no any luck:(
 
Got my Washington DC Date!

Guys,

At last I got my washington DC date today.

The person initially said I have to wait until March before I could have any updates (without out even getting any information from me like name, pp# etc)

Then I gave her my passport number, she looked it up and said it was recd. on December 1st in DC.

Hope I have to wait for a couple of weeks more to know the status. :mad:

I called the visa office today and was told that my visa was issued today , yes, just today!!

I was also told that there was a problem to enter the data to their system for most of the applicatin sent out in the later novmber, now they fixed the problem,

I want to share this information with all of you guys.

congratulations. that was pretty fast 70 days!!!!! can you update me when you see any fedex tracking or when you get back the passport? i will do the same
 
visa satamp expiry : 1 year

I sent my passport on 17 Dec and my DC date is 1st jan 04(Just told by lady in DC).
Now the thing is that my one year visa expiry anniversary is 06 Feb 04 which is tomorrow.

Do you think is the DC date matters or the date when visa officer actually get the case??

It is amazing that my application was not in the system two days ago, then today, they told me that my visa was issued.

Received my passport with approval just now! :D

SL date: Nov4th
DC date: Nov24th
Visa issued: Feb 2
Visa Received : Feb 5


The following might be of interest to a few people.

I am an Indian citizen but was born in a Special registration country.
Last time I got my visa stamped in Mumbai,India, I had to delay my return to the US as they had to do a security check on me (under section 221 (g)).
This was in Dec 2001- Jan 2002 .

Thankfully I was not denied this time.
For all special registration country citizens , my take is that if you have no plans to travel for 4-5 months , there is no harm in applying for revalidation within the US.

Thanks to all in this forum. It has been really useful tracking the progress of the revalidation.

UPS

Hi All,
It looks like they are also processing 1st week of Dec AS NAV rcv date was 12/04/2003. They are doing ggod job...
I also obserb that most of u guys using FEDEX.. I sent my pp via UPS and I did not c that any one mentioned that he/she used UPS.. As some used USPS....
I was wondering that UPS have any kind of scheduled picking up pp from DC oofice....If some one know, please let me know,, otherwise I might ask from UPS office...
