Sara2003 are you still out there?

Maybe we can send the e-mail there...

All -

- I found a website - MailFreeOnline.com - where we can send anonymous e-mail. So I am going to send the message this way.

- Since we still do not have a way to receive a response I suggest that they visit our forum and post here. Thoughts? Or should we ask them for a press release?

justwatching..why dont you give your personal email and send to them??

as per sara2003 sent mail from personal email and got reply back from NY DOL

its your shot.if you want ot send anonymous, its okay but i dont know NY dol guys will post reply into our forum
if they do its really good news

Hello ppl,

i am new to the NY thread, because we filed our labor through our consultant not so long ago from a different state, and now the client has offered a perm position and has agreed to file labor, NY is apparently processing 2001 and hasnt moved much for a long time, can anyone tell me why that is the case i mean from what i gathered in the previous posts its because april 2001 had lots of cases hence the back log, can some one tell me how the movement has been after may 2001?

I also hear from some collegues that if you aply for labor and its been over a year since the application, you can aply for the 7th year extension? I was under the impression that the 7th year extension is applicable only after Labor has been approved, can any one please help in clarifying this point?

thanks a lot..

some good news, but i dont know its really matters to us

i just called 212 621 9374 and i spoke to one lady and she told me they are doing now .AUG 2001 cases

but still dont know why may/june 2001 people didnt get any labor approved from NY regional DOL if NY SESA sent to there??

any thoughts
can anyone call and ask please..
mine is aug 2001..
GOD please help us to overcome this burden

I'm about to, I asked my lawyers for their opinion on whether it is ok to use personal e-mail or not, waiting to hear from them.

zamq, mine also arround Aug 2001. as per our estimations NY regional will take 45 days. till now almost 35 days completed for June 2001. so, June 2001 labers will come out in 10 days. mostly we will know latest news on friday March 12th DOL site on processing updates.

yes NYdeal, we have to wait for june guys to post about their information
i dont know still why its happening to us only.
we waited this far almost 2 years 7 months .still we have to wait for labor cleared
but if you look in some other states thay already in final stages of 140/485.

this NY really a mess

donot panic ! , its only few weeks and this issue will be resolved for you , other people applied later have no idea what might happen to them. please try to be positive.

212-337-2193, 212-337-2184 or 2185

But they are pretty strict about talking to employers and lawyers only.

this is from maryland thread
maybe this helps us also

03/12/2004: DOL Gaithersburg Centralized Processing Center Processing Record

As we reported last year, the DOL launched a pilot labor certification backlog reduction program at Gaithersburg, Maryland. Almost 3,000 cases were transferred to that center from the state offices and certifying officers offices mainly in the East Coast backlog states. According to the DOL authorities who attended the AILA conference this month, the Center received 3,083 cases, out of which it completed on 2,278 cases when it closed at the end of 2003. According to the officers, out of the approximately 800 left-out case, about 84 or 100 cases have been decided and people will receive receive the decision soon. Other 238 are waiting for the results of recuitment since these cases involved the retest of the market. Other cases are currently handled by the DOL National Office.
This Centralized Processing Center will apparently be used a model when the projected two backlog reductions go into operation. The cases in these centers are expected to be handled by contractors. Please stay tuned to this web site for the development of this news

any thoughts??
