Don't know ...but one thing I understood going thru the PWC's report (Seems DOL hired Price Water House Coopers as outside consultant to re-engineer Permanent Labor Process) is it may not be possible to start PERM, until all labor pending petetions are processed.

Also, lookin at their project plan (Figure-35), for next 2 or 3 months they plan to train (may be that's how we see those random picked applications) the contracting agency on labor application process.

As per the project plan, contracting agency should be starting the labor application from June/july 2004 and they are expected to complete all application within couple of moths (may be end of 2004)

nomorewait,

I read your letter on page 48 of this thread. More points in the impact sections could be listed which really should appeal these guys :
Impact:
ii) Inablility of the alien to make decisions about education and future of their children due to uncertainity of country of residence.
iii) Inablility to make important life decisions like home, retirement planning, financial planning, adaptation etc..etc..
iv) Psychological pain and frustration.

Carrer planning might be added, but I was little sceptical about it.

Also in background section in point C, you have a typo about pending cases, it says April 2004, it should be April 2001.
