Guys, I contacted my Congressman (exactly, congressional aide of course) and she mailed me a privacy or information release form, which I filled and mailed back today. Looks like I'm digging in for a protracted battle.
I'm kicking myself that I did not asked the officer when that freaking NNCP request was filed, I was too sure I would be stamped. A lesson, never relax with these guys.

I am reading your messages for a months but I have nothing to say since my T.D from vermont to NYC is in 12/14/04, well seems I still far away from interview schedule, I just have some questions if anyone can help please:
- I am checking case status of I485 every day 3 or 4 times! I know I am crazy! But do the INS update the case status online when they schedule for interview? Or they just send notice letter?
- Its possible the Interview date will take more than a year after T.D? because I am seeing most of us takes from 11 months to one year, its that always or there are some cases took more than a year?
- In Interview day should we show only Tax return or also we need to show sub payment (recent monthly payment), because my company will close by the end of this year, means if my interview will be next year I can show tax return but I will not have sub payment for the next January, February…etc

How are you, It's been so slow around here , hardly any updates in this thread. Looks like we are in for a long ride.

My case was transferred last july and still no interview letter, but I am trying to go the senator route now, I hope it helps. I don't know what is in fate for us but I just hope we get through sooner. My other friends who were transferred later then me in december got their GC's already. it's all luck

Your friend who has T.D in last December is he under i245 like us (special registration)? Or his H1 visa? I heard that poeple with special registration takes longer than people without, is that true? You know I’m dying everyday, I couldn’t take it anymore, I am 9 years in this country alone, that too much, and who’s know what gonna happen in Interview.
Do you have any idea about my other questions I mentioned in my previous message?

Cool it bro, I am in this country for 9 years myself, but still have a grip.

my friend was a 245(i) himself got transferred in december 2004, to NYC federal plaza, but received an interview letter in june 2005 for an interview in garden city, and also got his GC in mail by july this month

How cool is that. Bro , don't worry, we will be through also. it is just a matter of time.

I hope we all get G.C soon till nobody will write any message in this forum, we will be all gone from this hell, is that not cool? As you said is just a matter of time, well we have no other choice just to wait. Listen ask your friend maybe he complaint or did any special thing that we don’t know! I thought the interview date is based on T.D so we are in sequence except some people maybe they contact any important guy that can speed up the process! Don’t you think so?
Well, I think I am just trying to give a reason to anything happened from INS people…LOL.
Ramadan is coming and will be a great opportunity to ask GOD to help us.
So, let make a wish…LOL

Thank you all and wish you all get interviewed and your card soon. Sometimes things happen when you really take it easy.

gclord, I didn't do anything after the interview. The INS officer told me on the interview that I should get my card in about 4 weeks and that's what exactly happened. Wish you get your card soon.

By the way I have officially submitted my enquiry to senator office, they will be getting back to me in 12 weeks.------ I guesss.

Let see what happens... Officially waiting for more than 13 months now...hey goanker I am following you, I hope not for long we get out of this counting months scheme soon now...
