Interview notice received 40 days prior interview date.
Our last EAD (the 3rd one) was processed in Missouri but interview letter came from NYC where it is going to be.
Last march,when I went to Federal Plaza to check status of our case I was told that Missouri was going to start scheduling interview in July,so I guess they are doing now what they said before.
I hope all of us get approved soon.I will for sure let you know about our interview experience.

GC022002: Has your case been transferred to NYC as well?
I didn't find the FEB6361 transfer information either.
Is there another thread for NYC transfers?
I would still think that the NYC interviews are schedulled depending on the RD date, not TD..My TD is 09/23/2003, but RD 06/02/2002. I would rather assume that they sent interview letters in June to RD Feb 2002 cases, then, in July to RD March 2002. Depending on the number of cases, I hope I will receive an interview letter in August-September.

There is one thread about MSC transfer, I got some of the information from there.
My rd is Feb 02, and transfer to MSC around Apr, waiting interview letter now

please feel free to update the tracker file, seems NYC are scheduling the TD date up to Nov/03 and RD up to Mar 02 cases, hope eveybody on the list will get interview letter soon.

I today received a word from my attorney that I got a interview on Aug 24, I have to do my 2 FP on 7/31. My case was transfered to MSC 10/03. Onlne message still reads about the MSC transfer. I need to recv the notices yet, looks like the attorneys copy came first.
How /what would be a interview like at federal plaza, Do we need fresh medicals again? what docs are asked for? Also my passport is expiring this Dec04, once the interview is completed to stamp the approval on the passport do they ask for a 6 month validity of the pp.

Please resond/direct me to the link where i can find the info.

Good to hear that you got your interview scheduled!You must be very happy,so as I am.
Our interview will be next month @ 26 federal Plaza.They asked us to do new "medicals",FP2 and bring a big list of documents with us.Our lawyer will be there with us,he is charging us $250 each($1000-we are 4).I hope everything goes well.Good luck to you!
PS:I got notice 1 day before lawyer!
 
MSC Transfers

Hi Tata2003

I see light coming to me too soon. But my transfer was in April 2004. So I may have to wait for another 6 months.

What are the documents they are asking for the Interview? Are you sure that we have to spend for the medical again?

Transfer to NYC or MSC ?

:confused: Does it matter whether on the Transfer letter says NYC or MSC ?
Did anybody with a transfer to NYC (not MSC) receive an interview letter? Tata2003?
It looks like all the interview letters are coming from MSC, with a Transfer date up to March 2002 (as GC022002 stated).
Should I assume that all the cases are processed by MSC even if there is no notification of the second transfer from NYC to MSC?

I just got my interview letter -- Aug. 25 and 2nd Figure pring on July 31. Nothing mentioned new medical exam. My lawyer charges me $500 for accopanying for the interview. She also said I need financial support document and charges me $250. (My I485 is employee based EB2 via 245I, changed job, case transferred to Missouri last Nov, I'm still working.) Anyone know why I need the financial support document? The lawyer told me I need the following documents: tax return, pay stub(3 months), bank statement(3 month). What are other documents I should prepare? Please do help. Thanks!

They normally require a financial support for the secondary applicant. It is a simple form that you need to fill out. Search the BCIS website for the form. I don't understand why he charges you for that.

I guess I am lucky in a way. my attorney did the financial support form for us and we just needed to sign and he also had somebody accompanying us to interview us without charging us. I think that attorney's expertise is for interview, because I saw him in the interview waiting area couple of times before when I went to inqure on my case.

My case was never transferred to Missouri,I got interview letter from 26 Federal Plaza,but,when I went to Federal Plaza in March/04 to find out status of my case,I was told that my case was in Missouri to be scheduled for interview as many as other cases with I485 receipts dates of end of 2001,year of 2002 and 2003.My case was pending for 18 months just to be scheduled for interview(my personal opinion is that they forgot me...and I kept calling the 1800 number and about 1 month before I receive a interview notice I spoke to a nice lady thru the 1800# and she told me that she was going to send a note to NYC asking about the delay in scheduling my interview...I do not know if she did that or not,but that was my last try...with them.
Here is the list of documents they ask us to provide:
1-Photo Identification(passport, state driver's License,ID card)
2-Beneficiary Passport ana I-94
3-Original birth certificates (for the entire family)
4-Original marriage cert. and/or divorce cert.
5-Employment Letter(from both petitioner and beneficiary)
6-Tax returns and W2s for the last 3 years
7-IRS form 1722 or IRS printout for the past 3 years (wich I ordered with IRS)
8-2 color photographs for each family member(same as for EAD)
9-an updated form I864 Affidavit of Support
10-An I693 Medical Examination(they sent us the forms)our 1st one was done 2.5 years ago I called my lawyer and he said that we had to have that done,so we did.
11-ANY/ALL evidence that you and your spouse have a bona fide relationship.
bank statements,bank letters,mortgage agreements,health insurance,utility bills,etc.

I already have everything ready for interview next month,I hope they do not have a reason to not approve my case.

Thanks lucky1234 and Tata2003. I have more questions: 1. My passport expired and I'm not able to get a new one or the extension. Will this be a problem if they want to stamp it? 2. I changed my job after 180 days, similar job description, different company, do I need give thme AC21?

About the finacial support form, can I fill in by myself? Is it very difficulty? (I need to negotiate with my attony for the $250 if I can do it myself).

Haven't you received your ID yet? I read in the forum that some people are getting ID and their TD is October-November 2003...

But based on all the messages I have been reading on this thread, the IL were sent up to RD March2002 (VSC). It looked to me that the TD did not matter. It also seems that the NYC cases are processed at MSC, even if the TL doesn't specify that.
Any thoughts?

It is very difficult to say for sure what is going on there... I've heard once that TD matters for employment based cases when RD applies to family based ones. One thing I know for sure - you are next on line for your IL. It seems that people with approx. same ranges of RD and TD are getting IDs! Mine is not that soon, I guess (RD - 6/2003, TD - 6/2004), very complicated case... But I am not loosing hope and keep my fingers crossed! Good luck to all of us! What we are going throu with GC is a really heroical thing to do and handle.
