Wait untill tomorrow and you`ll see a new LUD with message change and an approval of the AP for your son. Then, you`re all set to fly to the land of Jungles and Carnaval. If u get a chance to visit Floripa (the magic island), don`t think twice. Enjoy! Take your son to play at "ressacada" stadium (Avai).

Hi Guys

Since the PD moved for EB3 my PD is available also, I would like to know if there is anything more I can to expedite the case
I did call the congressman's office who are already working on the reply, and also I intiated and inquiry with the VSC(45 days wait time) and now there is my infopass appointment to dig my case back up. Is there anything more I should be doing to get it going. I need to get out of this mess and get my GC.

PD :April 30
RD : 10/03
I140 : 03/18/03 approved
I485 Interviews : 04/12/06
(4) ead's & no approval of any kind yet
Don't know about namecheck/Background check crap.

Any ideas?

I got an LUD on my pending I-485. employment based (India). PD April 26th. As per new visa bulletin visa will be available only in January. Why is it? I do not want to be transferred to Local Office. RFE for medical was sent and earlier was rcvd by the authority in 2006 April. Is it too early to have an LUD for my case. Is it for a finger print. I am scared. Anybody ???

Thanks

Hi kmol69

Same happened with me, after like 15 days of my LUD change they transfered my case to local office for interview. Within a week i had to get my medical and finger prints. I think so it is good for you because you PD is current they will stamp your visas over the office only, so you dont have to be worried like us.

All the best
ASH3

Hi Newyorker012

How did it go with the Info Pass. Did they stamp your GCs.

Thank you for your reply. I was looking for any kind of reply. Was your interview tough? Anything they ask you specifically? I checked your postings, and I understand you are waiting for your green card. I sincerely hope you will get your greencard soon. The waiting itself is hard.Pls correct me if I am wrong. My medical was requested (RFE) and was sent to them a year ago and my msg says recevied their request.......... hope I will see the light at the end of tunnel very soon. After everything goes well, I will, and I must post all my hardships I went through in my journey

Hi Newyorker012

Happy new year ! I wish we all succeed in our goals this year. How did your Info Pass go. Did they stamp your passports. Please update because we are also in the same boat. After PD getting current , what next, do we have to wait or go to the FPlaza for getting the stamp. Please comment.

Thanks

ASH3

Hi Ash

Nothing much yet on the stamping, Since the PD got current I will be visiting the third time next week, they have been sending enquiries and that's all what it is happening. I don't know what else needs to be done, but following up with them sounds like a better idea. Let me know what you will be doing

Hi Newyorker012

How is everything ? Any success yet ! I am still waiting too, since PD got current this month, my attorney says wait for atleast one month. I don't know what to do next. I called the VSC and put a request and they gave me a reciept no with a 45 days wait. Will info pass help, if i go to the local office. Please suggest !!!!!

Thanks

Hi ASH

Congratulation on the current PD's. I have been to the local federal office three times already using infopass and everytime they said they don't have an answer when it will approve. Going with an infopass will help and I already had a request done with VSC a month earlier, but nothing yet.
Please keep me informed when you have anything from them. Good Luck

I think 99% or all people from this room got transferred back
to VSC in Nov/Dec05 and are now loosing their hopes.

case status

Hi,

I've been in NYC (originally from Philly) for the last 2 years- my EB3 PD is Jan 03.How can I confirm if my case has been transferred to a NYC local office? Any input will be appreciated.

Best way to confirm the case is by making an Infopass appointment at the district office. they quickly check whether the case has been recieved.

Update on my case

OK some positive deveolpments on my case:

On December 5 I called USCIS national cutomer service line to initiate an inquiry, got a reference number, and was told I should hear something within 45 days. Then I looked in the forums, and saw that this was kind of worthless and that probably nothing would come out of it. 45 days was last Friday, and I called back, but the message said if it hasn't been 60 days, etc... so I figured what's another 2 weeks and hung up.

Today I got a fingerprinting appointment notice for 2/2. In my opinion this is a very positive development, and means that someone has finally picked up my file. I don't know if this has anything to do with the inquiry or not, and the truth is I don't really care, I'm just really glad something is happening.

I hope this "light at the end of the tunnel" is not just an oncoming train...

Hi Ziv

I think you did the right thing, I had initiated an inquiry almost around the same time, although I haven't seen any movement yet, but hopefully something should happen soon. Please keep us posted.

Just as an FYI (for those who didn't read my previous posts...) my case in pending at Garden City, not Federal Plaza. An Infopass at Federal Plaza in (I think) October was totally useless.

I will never understand why my case was moved to Garden City, as I live in Manhattan...

When I initiated the inquiry, I made sure to tell the rep that it's in Garden City, so to avoid confusion.

I'll keep the forum posted of any development.

Hi Ziv

I have lost count of my infopass visits to the federal plaza, but I did an inquiry today also and they gave me another reference number and asked me to follow up within 45 days again. So I am back to square one.

Waiting........

Interestingly enough, my 2nd FP appointment will be exactly on the 800th day since my application was filed...
OK, I guess I'm getting a little too obsessed over this thing...
