hi naanshi

Naashi,

Have they started processing Oct 2003 cases for 140 ? For EB2/EB3 ?

Mine is 31-OCT-2003 EB2 but so far no updates, i have seen cases getting approved for Sep 2003 also ... What is happening

Traking Agust 27th Cases

So far I have tracked up to 4000 cases with ND 08/27/03. That is, numbers starting with LIN032555****.

The following are the approvals
LIN0325550309 Approved 2/10/04
LIN0325550924 Approved 2/17/04
LIN0325551044 Approved 1/13/04
LIN0325551058 Approved 2/17/04
LIN0325551111 Approved 2/4/04
LIN0325551743 Approved 2/20/04
LIN0325553404 Approved 2/23/04

The following have RFEs
LIN0325550071 RFE recvd 12/29/03 RFE recvd
LIN0325550851 RFE sent 2/12/04 RFE sent
LIN0325551376 RFE sent 12/11/03 RFE sent
LIN0325553307 RFE sent 2/25/04 RFE sent

One case has been transferred to Calif.. (Gook luck!)
LIN0325550977 Transferred 1/16/04 Transferred

By looking at the dates the last process date of May 27th submittals was 2/25/04. After this they have not touched the May 27th submittals.

What happened to the case officers???
a)Become sick?
b)Become lazy?
c)Gone on vacation?
d)Don't feel like working?
e)All of the above

I am leaning to the answer 'e'.

I am also frustrated by the inconsistency with which NSC is approving our cases.. Why don't they go in order , why are they picking cases randomly and going almost to november without approving the pending cases since Feb.. so many rfe's are recieved by them but they just hold onto them without approving.. What are they getting paid for ? where is our application fees going to ?

Looking at the threads here, and the awesome Excel macro, I understand that the first five digits of the LIN number represents the year and the date when the application was received. Now the question I have for the 'well-informed' out here is this: Is there a way to unscramble these five digits to a meaningful year/month/date format?

It would be great if we can just look a the LIN number and actually see the dates that correspond to that number. Kinda like the fluroscent green hieroglyphics in Matrix... And then we can unravel the evil plot of all the Mr. Smiths at NSC...

TITU,

Did you check for 10/28 also?

Can you plz add 10/28 to your scan results if possible.
Mine is LIN040195****

Thank you,
Yedati

I'll try to build 10/28 data over the coming days. I can scan only 1000 cases per day to build-up the database and then I get blocked for ~40 hrs. So far I've scanned about 4000 cases each for 10/29 and 10/30. I'll shift to 10/28 from today.

Could anyone run Oct 20th cases Plz...

Gurus in this forum,

Could any one run the scanner for Oct 20th.

Or could you send me the details on how to scan.

Tx.

Here, I have taken a shot at what you wanted. The attached spreadsheet analyzes the dates with LIN numbers. I do not lay any claim to its accuracy. It is just for informational purposes and reflects my understanding only. If everybody finds it useful, they can expand the dates beyond 12/31/2003.

Atleast my ND (10/30) has the correct LIN number of 04-021 in the spreadsheet.

cheers / titu

Quick question on scanner

I had a question on the scanner

How many cases #'s can be scanned before the IP is blocked for 24 hrs.

Thanks and let me know so i can start scanning.

You are right however!
Kind of frustrating as well as good news...
Mine is in Early September, and I see many people in the tracker not approved... But you see November approvals....

Re: Nov 26th cases

I think all our papers will be in a big-big-big pile, they will pick some up from middle if they feel like or top if they are lazy. Fate of poor folks like us who are waiting - probably, ours are at the bottom of the pile (if lucky - they will be found after lot of persuation and follow-up) or rhodents/roaches must have chewed into them, so we will not find them and can keep waiting for ever!

May be due to the new form....?

My receipt date is Sep 30, and still waiting for my I140 approval. Hope they will complete all Sep cases before end of this month.

I remember, BCIS introduced new I140 form starting Oct 01, ( new fiscal year)...I think, all new BCIS officers started working with all new applications. It's usual that no organization will train new employees to process obsolete forms. It's just my guess.

HI Dasarihp_newid

Iam not able to use the I140 scanner.
Could you or anyone run for sept 22 2003 please.

thank you

You da man. Titu. Your interpretation works for my case too - which is 04-066 for a RD of 01/07/04.

Thanks a bunch.

Are these EB2 or EB3

Are all these approvals EB2 or EB3. I thought EB3 was faster than EB2. But according to www.aila.org it says EB2 08/27/03 and EB3 as 05/26/2003.

That is a suprise or dates entered wrongly

Anyone any thoughts
