i saw your posting and called the number 312-352-1059

it said " please check the number and dial again"


Is there any way to find out the AVM number?


But before calling AVM,

What are the information required?? Because , i don't have any case number??

does SSN information is enough??

The number is correct, If you try to call from home, you will get all sorts of messages,

I tried calling from office using some calling card, it worked.

To know about your case, you need to have your company phone number.

i used calling card only.

the number which i tired is 312-352-1059

You had wrong number, it's not 312-352-1059 , correct number is 1-312-353-1059.

Thanks for the AVM Number. i called 312-353-1059

and i pressed the option 1

and gave the company phone number.


It gave a message of 0541xxxx was received on june 18,2002

with the DOT status 030.062-0xx has been certified on aug 29,2002



I Really don't know what the above message.

my case was filed on MAY 10,2002.


how can i know the above case number is for me or someone??

how to identify??

Hi shanumuga,

You need to call your office people and find out for how many people they have filed as you aware off.

If they filed, then find out when did they file for those, if it is earlier to you then you need to wait,

If they file bunch of people then you need to wait for hard copy.

I think the chicago number is only for FEDERAL.


Iam curious about the state , i was filed for the state labour at missouri.

No one year

Though most of the sites says that they are processing aug2001, it is not true for the all the cases, some cases they are latest.

So mine is filed in 2002 and I got my LC. If it is for compuiter job then you no need to wait for one year.

Usually, we wont get much from SESA, when it comes to DOL, chicago then only you can access your case in detail.
 
EB3/RIR - MISSOURI SESA

Mine was files on May 10,2002 under EB3/RIR at missouri SESA.

Iam working as software consultant only.

seeing by your response, i should get the state approval in

6 to 8 months.

Latest DOL time

Please check latest DOL LC timing. All the states show some progress except Missouri. They are not able to provide even latest processing times:

I wonder what is going on in Missouri. It seems like they all are on vacation or something. According to the website they are processing Regular Permanent received in October, 2001. I would assume they should be processing RIR received after October, 2001 ( In other words don't we all think RIR-LC is faster than Regular Permanent - LC). If not then God help DOL, Missouri.

how can I know which day?

I call this number, but the machine said it is processing 01/10.

Does anybody which day's case it is processing.

This is toooooooooooooooo slowly. I can not believe the LC can take so long time.
 
My Lawyer called yesterday i.e. 09/17/2002 to find out about RIR cases at Missouri SESA: They are processing RIR cases received on October 1, 2001. It will take them another 30 days or so to finish RIR cases received in October, 2001. In my opinion they are really - really slow.

processing time

How does the state labor dept. process RIR cases? Do they separate EB2/EB3 cases or they get processed according to the date they were received, since I've seen postings on this site that people applied early this year under EB2/RIR and got approval within 6-8 months. To me it just doesn't make a lot of sense that according to AVM that they are processing last October's cases while someone who applied this year already got approval.

Clarification:

According to my Lawyer, who called Missouri SESA yesterday i.e. 09/17/02: It will take them 30 days to move from October 1, 2001 cases to October 6, 2001 for RIR cases. In other words they will take 30 days to process cases received between October 1, 2001 and October 6, 2001.

Now you all can imagine the extent of slowness demonstrated by Missouri SESA.

Getting to your question xds: I think there may be some professions where LC moves faster than other’s. Mine is in IT, and it is wedged.

I don’t think filling in RIR EB-2/EB-3 makes any difference at DOL level. In my opinion they take the same time except for some trades, but I am not really sure.
