Ibukun: why your lawyer wants to file only I-140? You can file I-140 ,I-485, EADand AP at the same time.

My attorney notified me today (4/22/03) that my LC-RIR has been forwarded to DOL on 4/15/03. The priority date is 5/24/02.

Dear All,
I am sorry for responding late. We are not doing concurrent filling because my husband’s company’s lawyer said they feel it wastes time because INS has not mastered an efficient way to process concurrently. Secondly they said from experience it is better to file separately. The company has no problem filling concurrently but the immigration specialist advised my spouse to follow the lawyers advise and he did. We will do AOS. Good luck to all those waiting.

DOL site that was updated on April,23 Still shows that Michigan SWA is still processing:

Michigan Apr. 2002

Regular Permanent Nov. 2000
RIR Apr. 2002
 
any updates

any updates regarding labor. spoke to my attorney on Friday, he says we should be hearing from them soon. He said he will contact them this week and find out. will post the info.

My PD is 9th Sept2002. It is EB3 in RIR. I just want to know which month is presently processing in Michigan?. I saw the processing times in this portal ,which is showing current processing for MI as April 2002. But it is wrong. My friend has PD as June19, 2002 and in same category got his labor approval in 04/15/2003 itself.

Any Idea about, which month is processing in Michigan now?.

Hi Kumar,
You mean your friend case moved to DOL or approved labor on 4/15/03. If it is moved to DOL on 4/15/03, then it might be happened. Some times they dont update properly. But, it is not possible to get approved on 4/15/03.

Yes, Michigan labor is cleared and they forwarded for Federal clearance(Chicago).

Thats why i am thinking that, now they should be processing atleast end of July cases like that

might not be useful

The number at MI-SESA will not be anymore helpful than the information available in these threads, all they tell you they are processing so and so month thats about it. A better option would be to have your attorney call them up.

Hi PD is 09/13/2002 in EB3 under RIR.

one of my friend whos PD was 06/15/2002 was sent to CHicago on 10th April It self. But on the website its still showing that MI is processing April 2002 cases. But it is wrong.

Any body have any idea that what are the present Processing dates in MI state under RIR.

Heard from our lawyer that they started processing RIR Jul, 2002 and Non RIR Jan, 2001.

SReddy227 ...Did you hear anything as your PD is Non RIR, Nov 2000.

I haven't heard anything from my lawyer, the last when I spoke to him he was gonna contact MDCD and find out the status because he thinks we should hear about my application. I will call him up next week and find out the update. I will post it here as soon as I hear something from him.

Thank you for the info, finally some enouraging news after 2 1/2 years to see a date after my PD being processed. I am trying to get a hold my attorney to see if he has any news for me. I will post it as soon as I hear from him.

Moved to Chicago on 04/30/03.
