I think you are correct, they are reviewing your file and your approaval date is very close.

Can you tell us your processing is EB2/EB3?
 
EB3. But non concurrent. I140 approved then applied for I485

FP2 Completed by FBI

Called and checked with FBI that my wife and my FP2 have been completed and sent back to USCIS on the same day we did our FP2 11/17/2004. I have aslo send email asking for name check clearance which i believe will be another 2-3 months wait for FBI reply on this....or should i see approval before then???

I am wondering why there are quite a few approvals in May 2003 whereas nothing at all in Apr 2003. Has anyone in this group received RFE or had online message update after FP1/2 or LUD?
 
I got 3 dates for FP for my family (Dec 1,2 & 3). I took chance and went for early FP on 11/24. Probably before thanks giving holiday, USCIS people were in good mood and they did FP for all of us that day. FBI says they have sent FP results to USCIS same day. I have sent email to FBI for name check. Now it will be wait and wait ....

Has any March/April filer got any status change recently after 2nd FP - RFE, LUD, Approval, Transfer etc. Thanks and good luck to all.

My wife and I went in early and got our FP's done (we were originally scheduled on 12/2 and 12/1 respectively, but we went in on 11/10). But there has been no update at all.

I did my 2nd FP on 10th NOV and yesterday got approved. NO LUDs in between, just stright approval.

It has been long jurny. After 10 year of struggle today I see light.

First GC applied in late 1998 and my Priority Date was Jan 1999. In 2000 October my I-140 was cleared but was waiting for my priority date gets CURRENT to apply for I-485. By April 2001 I lost my job. Whatever I achieved by then was waste.

Again applied for GC in 2001 with new employer. FINALLY yesterday was the D-Day and got approved. Thank GOD.

GOD is great, I am happy.

I think they are looking at cases who had their 2nd FP in NOV. Good doing. This is a great site and people are very helpful and very informative. Special thanks to Rajiv.

That's really good to hear thk. Congrats. I did my FP2 on 10th Nov and my RD is 03/26/2003, ND 04/01/2003. It has indeed been a long struggle for you. I have been waiting for 6+ years now since I came here and hope I could see light at the end of the tunnel. By the way, your FP2 is 11/10/04 not 03 right?

Congrats thk. Your approval has given hope to March filers. I hope mxc you are going to be the next. Hope your long wait will be ending soon, probably this week itself. Good luck.

Mine is EB3 case.
My 2nd FP is originally scheduled on 11/18/2004, but I went one week earlier which is 11/10/2004.
I live in Milwaukee, so I did my FP in Milwaukee.

Thanks thk. Now, I am seriously thinking if PD does play any role in approval. I am not talking about being current or not but when two cases with same RD/ND and all things being equal if the one with early PD was given priority in terms of processing or approval. I don't know, I am just speculating.

Finally it is approved

Hi Friends,

Finally I got the magic mail and I could see the light in the tunnel. Yes I got 485 approval for me, my wife and 2 kids. Finally the long wait is over. This forum has been of great help specially at a time when you feel a bit down due to NSC way of functioning. I sincerely thank all the members for useful help they provided during this struggle. I wish you all GOOD LUCK. My details are given below:

I140 – RD 03/03/03, AD 07/01/04
I485 – RD 03/03/03, AD 12/13/04
EAD : 1st RD 03/03/03, AD 09/15/03, 2nd RD 05/14/04, AD 07/30/04
AP : 1st RD 04/30/04, AD 07/02/04
Never used EAD/AP. Continued on H1B
