Mar/Apr 2003 Tracker

I got my FP2 notice today. It is scheduled for 12/02/04. I was wondering, if anyone has any experience of getting it done earlier. Will the service center accept earlier finger printing or will they send you back? Is there any risk in doing it early? I appreciate any inputs. Thanks
 
Going FP2 early

I believe you can do your FP2 early if allow by your local fingerprinting center. Last time when i went for an enquiry for my FP1 (June 2003) at Denver, they ask us if we want to do it now. Well, i was suprised but decided to do it on notice date instead cause fingerprint last for 15 months and i don't think my case will be touch very soon at that time.

I received fingerprint notice FP2 to do it on 12/09/2004. But this time i going early to do FP2 if allow by the Denver fingerprinting center :) See below for my case detail.

My wife got fp2 notice on saturday. it was to appear for FP2 on 12/23/04.
no update in LUD at all.

Hi,

I got my second FP notice on saturday. The online status nor LUD has changed.

I140 : RD Feb 20th 2003. Approved July 29 2003.
I485 : RD March 13th 2003
1st FP : April 2003
1st EAD approved July 2003
2nd EAD approved Oct 2004
2nd FP : recived notice on Jan 6th.I have been asked to come on Nov 30th .

Guys do you think this is a sign ..that we might get 495 approval after FP?

Got 2nd FP notice, please read signature...

Wife did not get 2nd FP. Some other people have also seen this... wife not getting 2nd FP. Is it a matter to be worried about?

my wife got her FP2 on saturday and i got my FP2 today, dont worry ,she will get her notice too.

A Lot of FP2 are sent last week, Does that mean they have opened our cases? no change in LUD at all. any views?

I have not seen anything chage in my 485 LUD to this date, not even about the FP. Spouse LUD changed with new address.

BTW ...does anybody know if we can call local INS and try to have finger print earlier than date mentioned.

I wouldn't be too worried about no change in LUD or status message. There have been instances where people even got their approval and online message didn't change.

I tried doing that 4-5 months back and the customer service person refused to accept my request saying processing date was still 12/1/2001 (it was 12/1/2001 back then). I just left it there and I got it now naturally.
 
Will try for early FP2 in Indianapolis on Friday

We will try to do early FP2( will just walk in and ask them) as we will be in india for the scheduled time and will show them the airline tickets.

Don't worry, there were some posts that mentioned that spouse got it few days later. There is another post that tracks this, you may want to join it. One time, my wife got her AP three weeks after my daughter and I got them. Initially we were nervous too, but later realized it is not uncommon. I would be worrried if I don't get it after a month or so.

Seems like there is on-going activity for the Mar/Apr 2003 filers. If this turns into approvals....its probably just 2-4 months away.

Incidentally I did my first FP in June...but heard nothing after that. At this time I am not expecting a second FP. But I hope the adjudicator does not get a brilliant idea that my FP2 time has not reached yet...so I must wait until then :confused: :confused:

Is it June 03 or 04. If it is 03 you should be getting your FP2 notice now as your FP1 must have expired. I did my FP1 in May 03 and got my FP2 notice last week.

Actually I went in 3 weeks early and got it done too, today. I don't know if that helps or even if it might be a detriment. I did hear in this forum that there have instances they have got their FP2 done early and got their approval even before their original FP scheduled date. So, I thought I will just go try it. Hope it helps.

Hi mxc,
Did you give any specific reason for getting it done earlier and did they ask for any evidence for that reason. I have my 2nd FP scheduled for 1st week of Dec and was thinking of possibility of early FP. May be yo can throw more light with your experience. Thanks.
PD : 07/01, ND : 03/03, 1st FP : 05/03, 2nd FP scheduled for 12/04.
