LUD on Approved I-140

ok, more mystery..last week I was told all background checks are clear all we need is a 2nd FP since 1st one expired in May. So 2nd FP was requested for me. I was told to wait for 30 days. I saw LUDs on my approved 140 and 131 from 2005 no lud on newer 131.
I called today to follow up on FP notice, now the IO (was polite) says NOID was sent yesterday..:confused:. At first she couldnt find my case, too many #s in my receipt number..
So I went to check the status online- there is an LUD on my 485 with todays date on it..I dont know what it could be. I already had one for legal status early on..puzzling!!

BTW I have another LUD today but no change in message..dunno whats going on.
 
I think your NOID is for the missing FP's which should be easy to handle. You should be all set after they receive your FP. Good luck.

I have been calling them to send me a notice for FP..so that would be good if its just the FP notice.

The other possibility could be skin TB test vs just an xray..I learnt from others on the forum who received NOID for that..

LUDs

Hello guys,

In my Case
First LUD was 5/19/2007 for old H1B that was 2001 (renewal)
Second LUD was 6/24/2007 for Old H1B (2004 renewal)
Third LUD was 7/7/7 on I140 (approved on 2/25/05)
and I131(First one which was approved on 11/3/2004)
Forth LUD was 7/14/2007 for H1B (renewal 2005)
Fifth LUD was 7/22/2007 on my second AP (Which was approved on 8/27/2005)

It means they are checking my employement ,my status info and APs but they didn't touched my all Old EADs. I was thinking these people are going to touch my EAD after my old APs completed (means verification).

MY 4 th EAD was submitted on May 2007 and pending more than 2 months . Current one going to expire on Oct 2007
MY 4 th AP was submitted On 7/6/2007 and pending above all I didnt received the AP Receipt notice till today.

When I checking my Old EADs or APs, they approved within 2 weeks some times within one week.
But the currect process taking more than 2 months. Reason Don't know.


1St FP done on 8/25/2005
2ND FP done on 3/6/2007



I 485 RD 10/12/2004 AD : No one knows.

update on my case

ok, I spoke to TSC IO this morning (she was helpful and polite). She said my FP2 is scheduled for 08/07/07. I should expect the notice in next few days, it was sent on 07/23/07. This is apart from RFE that was sent out on 07/24/07. Note that she said RFE NOT "NOID", which contradicts with what I was told yesterday..:confused:. I am happy to see that they are working on my case..I will know more after I receive the notice..

but CS rep not allowing me talk to IO.Please let me know .

You should keep on calling, out of 10 times you may get once, I tried several times calling and most of the times it goes to NCSC(I will hung up the phone immediately as there is no use talking to these people) and I was connected to IO's some times and only once in my last 4 years got a nice IO who told me that my address is incorrect and gave me some useful information.

Reddy,

I am not sure its good idea talking to them too much... if you only speak once, it might make sense.. but if we keep annoying them for the same application... i dont know if that will do any good, let alone harm...

many people calling have attested that they get conflicting answers... why bother ? just my 2 cents..

1victim, I am not encouraging people to call USCIS, in fact I am against calling them several times. But since some of our friends want to know how to get the IO, I just gave my idea of catching IO's as I have tried this by calling several times and when it goes to the NCSC I will hung up..I spoke to IO's may be 5 times in last 4 years(you can guess how many times I have called)....
 
On 7/28/2007 (Saturday) got a LUD on I-140 that was approved in 06/2006. No LUDs on I-485. Did my FP1 in 07/2006 so it should still be good. No LUDs on previously approved EADs and APs. Well, let's see if it's a glitch in the system or it'll actually get me somewhere.
 
exact same scenario here

Even I got LUD on approved I-140 which was approved in 06/06. Also on LUD on my APs which were approved on 08/06.
My 485 -- RD 07/06.

Also got LUD on my 2006 approved I140 on 07/22/07 but on same day I e-filed my 2nd EAD too. My 485 RD:01/2006

Just double-checked and also found 7/28/07 LUDs (my and my wife) on AP approved in 2006. No LUDs on 2006 EADs, and no LUDs on 2007 APs or EADs approved a couple of months ago. For some reason there is a mass (mass = I am not the only one) LUDs on I-140s and APs approved in 2006. I am inclined to assume this is because of some system update, and it's not related to processing of I-485.
