<<<TRACKER FOR MARCH - 2002 FILERS>>>>

Rajum...my firends who applied with me in 1998 are all

having there cards. I know it takes time but mine took more than usual.

You when the Sept 11th incident happened, that was my worse day in life. I lost a couple of friends of good friends that I had met at common parties.

Also I thought now that I do not have my LC, and this 9/11, never will the DOL at NY approve my case, out of anger, not on the merit, and I decieded to go back when the 6 yrs are done. Started saving a lot money, and not spending on capital goods, but it all changed when in Nov, 2001 I got a call from my attorney that they approved it.

You know around 9/12, I got a dream, that my file is in one of those papers flying at the Ground Zero, and also I had gone to www.mapquest.com, to see how far the DOL office was. It is just 4 blocks away.

Then not to forget my wifes being rejected in 2001..and my EB2 case stuck in NJ for the last 10 months. Guess I hope I get my I-485 before my LC in NJ..

I have had my moments

Hey March2002Tracker - I dont say that...

Some peoples lives are like that.. just take the case of Lord Rama, he is a king, he succeeded, he is a hero...but he sufferred whole of his life. Some People\'s life too goes like that. .success in everything that they take up but after a long long struggle.. Another example is that of Arjuna.. he is an incarnation of God.. BUT I do not know of an event in his life when he was truly happy..Perseverance man Perseverance is what we are supposed to have.. JUST KEEP GOING AT WHAT YOU AIMED AT .. no matter what. Goodluck.

Sidr,
  You words are very encouraging...

March2000tracker,
I appreciate your preservance....Definitely, you seems to be the strong person....If I imagine myself in your shoes, may be I would have broke the whole furniture in my home....I think tensions in last year has reduced my life span by at least 5 years...

I have seen couple of other friends...one got RFE after 3 years and his labor got rejected because attorney has screwed up. Though he got approval for his second labor but it seems that there are some problems in that and he may not get through I-140. His attorney now wants to file third labor but he has already entered into his sixth year.

Even my attorney has screwed up couple of cases. That is the reason, I filed 485 myself. At least, there will be not anyone to blame.

Lets hope that 485 processing of all of us goes fine....

thanks,
raju

I am from Maine that comes under VSC

I am not sure if getting an early FP date is any indication of a faster process. But it certainly is encouraging.

The EAD approvals for early march filers should

start in less than 15 days, looking at the feb approvals.
We will certainly know if it is otherwise :)
But someone has posted about a mail room delay (??) which does not make any sense looking at the time taken by the feb approved EADs to reach them.

For NJiers,

When can we expect FP because I want to plan India trip ? Going by the other trackers, is it reasonable to expect in July ?

yes u can travel on a H1

You can use your H1 to travel but make sure you carry your 485 rcpt incase there are problems ( u need not show them unless asked). But as long as you have a valid H1 stamped on your passport you are free to travel anywhere.
AP is a needed for only people who travel on an EAD.
