Gurus - Need help. My FP Code 3 is scheduled for 9/13. Can I get it done earlier by walking into any ASC? What day they service walk-in applicants. My notice desn't say anything about this. My appointment is scheduled in ASC in NJ, but I am in Texas. What should I do.. Thanks for your help in advance.

I did one week before scheduled date.

I just walked in and requested to reshedule it.

He asked the reason , told him have the travel plans on that day.

Luckily there was some slots open after noon of that day.

He agreed and said come afternoon.

EAD, AP approved

Called IO 1-800-375-5283 Options: 1,2,2,6,1, enter receipt#, 1,3,4.
Used skype because based on caller id if u r in west coast even if the NSC is open you get a message that call after 8 AM. Also the suggestion in previous posts about calling 9 AM or 12 PM EST works very good.

I only received approval notification email from USCIS website for EAD but nothing for AP.

The IO Office provided all the information that I requested including name check. Details are in signature below.

When does USCIS initiate name? Is it after the FP is done?

We filed at NSC and have a receipt date of 06/27/07. My wife's FP is scheduled for next week and mine is a day after her appointment. I will wait for my FP to get done and then I will call about the NC status.

Should I call USCIS or the FBI number that someone posted on this forum for the NC information. Please advise.

Spoke to IO at NSC

Guys,
Just spoke to an IO @ NSC regarding my name check and about EAD approval. He said NC was initiated on July 06, 2007 and when asked how long it might take to clear NC he replied it could take upto 5 years. And when I said my friends who are getting their EAD approval with same filing timelines from TSC then he said they are lucky that their cases landed at TSC and he has no idea when my EAD could be approved. Last, I asked him if he is a CSR or IO then he replied IO. I dont know if he is telling the truth or not.

I believe the next LUD might be after your FP. That's mostly what I see here.

ASC Appointment Notice received for EAd

We have already received our code3 fingerprinting appointment notices for I-485. Yesterday we received code 2 fingerprinting appointment notice for my wife for case type I-765. Any idea?

That is great news. Can you confirm that your case is still with NSC because I have not seen any EAD approval from NSC in the forum. Hopefully they have started working on EAD again.

AP approved but online status says pending

Gurus,
I've received my physical AP paper (via Lawyer) but online status still shows Case received and pending... is it common? does anybody else has a similar situation?

Online status shows my AP is approved on Aug 23rd but I haven't received the approval notice.

Question for people who got AP approved, do we get the AP approval letter or only the lawyer gets it?

In my case, the AP was approved and there was a status change as well as an email from CRIS.
My AP approval notice went to the lawyer who is going to forward the same to me today.

I moved after filing 485 ( I did update address for all applications on website) so just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss the approval notice.

In my case, After approval, I received the EAD within a couple of business days. However, received AP only after 7 business days. Not sure, if it is the normal trend..

Yes I am still with NSC. My colleagues who are also at NSC and who filed with me also got EAD.

EAD & AP Approved

Got my EAD cards today in mail. Also got emails from CRIS that my AP is mailed. I guess it will go to lawyers.
Center is NSC. I think NSC is still wayy behind TSC. Few of my friends who also filed on 6/1 from TSC got their EAD and AP in the week on Aug 14th.
