Let's track I-485 filed after June 01, 2007 We can track AD, ND, FP etc post 06/01/07

Hi Vizzuch,
I talked to my attorney yesterday. They checked and told me that the checks have not been encashed yet.
I read somewhere that they had wrong phone numbers on receipt notices and may be holding to correct that (guess..)
I not sure how they are processing the applications.
Lets inform each other after getting the notcies.

Cheers!

buster_123,

They had wrong phone number on receipt notice between March 14th 2007 till June4th 2007. They have corrected it. In my receipt it has correct service center phone number which has a RD of June 1st 2007 and Nd of 5th June 2007. So I don't think they are holding on to correct the phone numbers.

Also people who has ND between March 14th 2007 and June 4th 2007, will get a new receipt notice having correct phone number.

I have a question for people who filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently and got their receipt numbers.

I have gotten receipt numbers for my concurrently filed I-485 and I-765 as I paid for them (PD April 2003, I-140/I-485 filed at NSC). I do not have receipt for I-140 after more than 2 weeks. My employer is not giving me receipt number for I-140 as he may be wanting more money from me. Now, I have read in a forum that I-140 when applied concurrently should have receipt number very close to I-485 receipt number and normally I-140 receipt number is less than I-485 receipt number (i.e. if I-485's last four digits are 4600 then last 4 for I-140 number will be lower than 4600 and close to it. So, in theory I can scan numbers prior to mine and find closer ones for the same date and track them.

If you can please check your numbers and tell me if your I-140 number is before your I-485 number and how close they are to each other, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Your guess is correct, some of my friends had those pattern when they filled I-140 and I-485 concurrently. Also, if you file I-485 and AP, EAD together, you will get AP and EAD receipt numbers higher in sequence.

fastergcwanted,
did you file your I-140 in premium processing? I filed my I-140/I-485 concurrently and in Premium (I 140). I got I-140 receipt notice in 2 days(in email), but no heard anything about I-485!

Yes, I did file in PP.

I am surprised that you got the receipt for I-140 in email. Because I-140 normally goes to lawyer and/or employer from what I understand.

fastergcwanted,
I just saw my checks were cashed, based on that I got a case # (SRC xxxxxxx) . I just put it in the system and my I140 and I-485 are only 11 numbers apart. And based on my case, your theory of the I-140 case # preceeding the I-485 case # is correct...
good luck!

Thanks for checking!!! I appreciate it.

Lawyer sent my I-485 on 6/6 via priority mail to NSC. Still my checks are not cleared.
My I-140 was approved from TSC. But my lawyer send it NSC as per USCIS guidelines.

Checks cleared

My checks got cleared on June 15.
USCIS site says receipt notices have been mailed.

My details:
PD - Aug 2001
I-140 from TSC - April 2007
485 filed on June 1

Next steps after getting Receipt Number

Hi All,
Here is my info:

Labor (PD: July, 2002 AD: April, 2007)
I-140 (AD: May, 2007)
I-485 (RD: June 15th, 2007)

Looks like folks who filed I-485 in early part of June have started receiving Finger Print notices. Hopefully, USCIS will still honor the labor PD while assigning the visa numbers.

Regards,
jkinstpa

So once you receive the receipt number for 485 filing, what are some of the next steps/procedures? Is it Finger printing?
Also what atge does the interview gets scheduled and is it for all cases or a random selection?
Thanks,

Case Status: On June 7, 2007, we received this I485...

My I-140 is approved (PP) from NSC on 06/01/2006. Was expecting to see a LUD on approved I-140 around the time they issue receipt for my I-485. No update on I140 case status. In fact it still says we received your request for premium processing on May ** even though I have I-140 approval notice with me.

Folks please posting your details. It helps us all.

Good luck to all waiting for receipts.
