It means that very soon you are going to get FP2 notices in your mail.

My FP1 was on March 07 2003(same as urs), I checked my USCIS portfolio, the LUD changed for me and my wife 08/05/2004.

Its good VSC is still digging the Jan '03 ND cases. I thought they are off to Mar-June '03 cases. If they are digging (instead leaving them to collect dust like many other 2001/2002 cases), we could get FP2s, RFEs or approvals after FP2/RFE ;)
 
In how many days do you have to give your FP2 after receiving the notice. My LUD is updated today and I believe I am going to get FP2. My wife is currently in India and will return only after a month. Do they provide around a month time to give FP2?

It varies between 2 weeks to 6 or more weeks. However, you are safe as CIS gives some time (CIS mentions that date in your FP notice - some times) to use same FP notice even after the schedued date.

Self gave it on 7/8/04
Spose did on 7/10/04
LUD for both 7/19/04

Did you approach Congressmen/Senator? DSatish, another helpful fellow like you, just got approved after FP. He's mentioning that Congress/Senator might have triggered his approval. It would not hurt :)

I had my FP2 today and Look like we have to wait long.... becoz sanga is already waiting already 4 weeks. Did you had your finger print (FP2)....

Early FP

Hi,

My RD is 1/22/2003. I received FP2 notice and the scheduled date is Sep 21St. Can I go for an early finger print?

My Details:
I-140: Oct 2002, AD Dec 2003
I-485: RD 1/22/2003, AD ???
FP1: 3/4/2003
FP2: 8/21/2004(Scheduled date)
EAD2: Expires June 2005

I haven't contacted any congressional persons yet. Am ready to wait another 4 weeks before doing anything.

It has been 4 weeks now, since FP2. I haven't seen any approvals from July FP2 folks. Let's see how it goes in next couple weeks.

And there are lot of folks who are still waiting from 2002. I wish VSC will approve all of us soon.

Any Dec'02 filers still waiting for FP2?

I am still waiting for my FP2. Today I saw couple of threads in this forum, looks like most of Dec'02 got the FP2 done already. Though my LUD got changed on Jun 14th, but no improvement after that. I am with the same employer for the past 5 years and not a concurrent filer. Did anybody try to contact Congressmen or Senate to get FP2 Notice?

MY ND is Jul 2003. Can I approach Congressman/senator? Is there anyguidelines on how much the delay should be, before approaching congressman/senator

I have done my FP1 on this saturday and am willing to wait for one or two months as I am sure that CIS is now processing April/May 2004 Finger Printing cases as one of my friend who has done his FP2 in Third Week of May 2004 has got his approval on August 6th and his I485 is filled in May 2002 in EB3 category.

Did you had your finger print (FP2)....

Has your LUD changed after FP2.
Has the message been updated to confirm the reciept of FP2.

My LUD changed after 7 days FP2 but the message is the same as before with the FP1 reciept dates.

Also I did not recive an email when my LUD changed last time.

Others please chip in with your information too.

My LUD changed after 7 days FP2 but the message is the same as before with the FP1 reciept dates. - Same here

Also I did not recive an email when my LUD changed last time. -emials are sent only when status changes, not for just LUD

Have you called USCIS customer service number? I know you have given FP2 30 days back. I will be completing 30 dyas on 08/13(in another threedays).I am planning to call the customer service number. The reason is if your message has not changed within 30days, you can initiate an internal enquiry or get a chance to talk to the supervisor (That is what I have been told). My case is showing FP1 message.This might trigger your approval. What is harm in trying....
 
FP2 Notice

Could you tell me how long does it typically take to receive the FP2 notice by mail after the LUD has been updated. My LUD was updated on 8/4/2003 and I haven't received the notice yet. I am expecting FP2 notice.
