Last updated date changed for Jan '03 case

Guys, Thanks for all your thoughts.

No approval yet. I have seen TheGCWait's approval today (July FP2). Did you guys see any Dec/Jan ND and July FP2 approvals?. I am getting impatient, lately :(

As it appears in many cases, we don't have to see another LUD before we see magic words "APPROVED". Hope our next LUD is with Approval message, very soon.

Today 8/25/04 our LUD changed first time after FP2 (done on 7/21/04).

No change in the message though.

Probably they must have updated that they have received the FP2 results.
 
Hummm... may be VSC is punching in "APPROVED" - letter by letter. Good luck allthebest; check again later today/tomorrow.

You guys are in better shape than me because you have had changes in LUD before and after FP2. However, in my case (Dec '02 RD 485; FP2 July 17 '04) there has been NO change in LUD either before or after FP2 (LUD is March '03 after FP1). Looks like FP2 notice was just automatically generated by system without human (are CIS officers human?) intervention.

I wonder if my case has been assigned to an officer on long leave or one who is a drunkard or one who just does not care to update/approve. The worst part is that I feel there is nothing I can do to stimulate CIS to update/approve my case............

This is what I observed:

One of my friend's FP2 scheduled date was 8/7/04, and his LUD changed on 8/18/04.

My FP2 scheduled date was 8/14/04, and my LUD changed on 8/25/04.

Your FP2 scheduled date I think was 8/18/04, so you should expect your LUD to change very soon.

Even though we have done early FP2, I guess some officers might be seeing the FP2 results as per schedule.

Then again, this is just a theory - God knows what happens!

It looks like they are actively process FP2 received in July 04 GreenColor & GCinema as we are now started seeing Approvals and lets hope that CIS continue with the same spirit for all pending I485 cases.

Your theory was indeed right!!! Just after posting my last message, I did my routine online status check, and was pleasantly surprised that both spouse and my LUD has changed to 08/26/2004. However, the message is the same "FP1 recieved 03/05/2003 blah blah..."

Wait begins anew with more hope :)
 
My LUD changed 8-3-2004 and 8-4-2004
then I received 2 nd fingerprint notice on 8-16-2004
(Scheduled for 9-02-2004 Hackensack/NJ)

FP2 - 07/29
LUD changed 08/05 and again today on 08/26.
The first LUD change was probally for FP2 results recived.
Any guess on what the second LUD date change was for.
No change in message. Guys check to see any of your LUD changed.

I am in the same boat

MY LUD has changed twice after FP2: Once on 07/19 after six days of my
FP 2 and again on 08/13 exactly after 30 days. No change in the message or approval...best luck for your approval.

What is funny is that I got my FP2 done yesterday and my ND is 1/27/2003. My LUD is 06/23/2003. I know a for a lot of them the LUD has changed but no FP2 notice which probably could mean you guys gonna get approved without the 2nd FP.

My LUD also changed yesterday and today(8/25 & 8/26) after i am done with FP2(485 RD Jan23,03) on Aug17th. Hoping my long wait also will end soon.

My fp2 was on 8/3/04. My LUD is changed on 8/25 and 8/26. I got email from USINS, which is also on the USINS web site:

On August 24, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

I only changed my home address a coule weeks ago. I don't have any request. Anyone knows what's going on?
 
LUD change after FP2

We did our early FP2 on 8/13/2004 (appointment date 9/21/2004) at St. Paul. LUD changed today. But the same old massage(1st FP message)

1st LUD change on 7/23/2004
Received FP2 notice on 8/6/2004
FP2 appointment date 9/21/2004
Did early finger printing on 8/13/2004
2nd LUD change 8/26/2004

My Details:
I-140: Oct 2002, AD Dec 9th 2003
I-485: RD 1/22/2003, AD ???
FP1: 3/4/2003
FP2: 8/13/2004(Appointment date9/21/2004)
EAD2: AD May 2004
