Labor Processing Times in California Due to 245i Part6

Hi ALL,

I am new to the forum and as with any new guy I have some questions.

I wanted the AVM # to check my SESA status ( thanks kingno1 for providing ) .The # i used was 415-975-4617. But I cant find my case over there.

It looks this # belongs to DOL and is ONLY usefull if the case has moved from SESA to DOL and you want to verify your status at DOL.

Am i correct ? If so, can you tell me how can i find out my status at SESA.

logicators checks with SESA on a regular basis and provides the results here. If you call SESA, they will tell you what P.D they are processing. So, first get ur P.D FROM UR HR or Attorney...and check it accordingly..

Welcome to the board and if you can gothru the previous posting on this link you will find all the details.

To answer your questions

SESA current processing dates are Sep7th 2001 as of 30th august 2002.

YOu can call the number and check your status if you have the copy of the SESA (EDD)rcpt. letter mentioning the number and PD date. This you can get it from your attorney or HR.

If your case priortiy date is already due then its better you ask your attorney or you can call and check with them. Nowadays when we call for the status they ask for number and the date, if your's is not yet due sometime you simply get a reply its not yet due. If you are lucky then you may get the reply we are processing .... date and call us after your priority date comes.

If you gothru the updated list which consists of the case number (first three digits) and the dates, you will be able to take guess on your case. The number is posted in the previous posts in this link you can call and check the status.

Can you kindly update your information on the updated list in this link.

Note:

To clarify unlike INS, DOL donot have seperate staff to answer all the queries. Hence the number of queries also add to the load of the Officers who work on this case. Whoever checks the status with SESA once in a week(logicator checks the status), updates this board with the processing dates

Pal8 : I am sorry I dont have my PD #. My company lawyer is not very responsive. he doesn't tell me anything. I hope u understand the predicament I am in.Thats why I am getting worried.

But I know(I hope..) They sent my papers to SESA on 10 -11 Oct'2001.

I promise IF i hear anything from my employer or Lawyer, I will
update this forum for sure.

Hi Guys,

Just checking -

Are there any updates from people with denied LCs (LCs that went back to normal processing - non-RIR - queue)?

My lawyers say that we should be recving some response from DOL about my case (which was sent to normal queue - see earlier posts) by 20th Aug. We dont have any other option other than waiting - and may evaluate if anything else can be done before refiling an RIR if the DOL response is -ve. :(

Are the case # assigned by SESA is only for labor certification or
it includes everything else .
just have a quick look at list.

Take the case
Raj_visa 96xxx 6/11/2001 AND Dasarihp 129xxx 6/14/2001
According to this case filed in 4 days are 129000-96000 = around 33 thousand???

Take the case
getLCfast 1361xx 8/30/2001 AND ArvindDaga 135xxx 9/17/2001
According to this case number for filed in September 2001 is smaller than Aug 2001.

Take case

in 6 days filed cases were around one thousand.???

Pal & other users please atleast provide third digit also in case #.
 
SESA numbers

Hi Ansari,

Good analysis.

1. Yes the case numbers what you have asked(list) is from SESA there will be another case number assigned when its transferred to DOL with transfer date. This numbers are meant for LC at SESA level only. New case number will be assigned . This date is Priority date then theres is a tranfer date, Receipt dates and finaly DOL Approval Date.

2.SESA case numbers are presently 14...... but in june it was 9.....
Well there were more than thirty three thousand numbers during june- july. Always its not sequential by dates there seems to be a difference in the dates - as seen in the board. and as I understand from the boards postings and approvals/ transfers to SF-DOL in the last one year it looks like thye take in batches.

And if you gothru my previous postings you will see this analysis, on apprx. how many cases were filed. And how the processing time is propotionate to the number of cases.
And lastly when people update kindly try to include the Last updates also pal146xxx and rkrish 143xxx.

To consolidate the number of cases from Octeber 2001 to Jan2002 is equivalent to August and September 2001.

Still we can have better analyisis if people can post status updates to the numbers posted here.

My PD is 10/3 yours is 10/1
How come my number is 1393xx and yours 1396xx??
Voland I am assuming that you have a typo, 2001 and not 2002.
also what is your 139xth number??
Seems about 2100 cases filed between 9/11 and 10/3

Hi Guys,

My priority date is 9/10/01. I called to check status and they said they can only give the information to my company or my lawyer. So, somebody from HR at my company called and she got couple of different weird responses - First time she called, she was told that 'it would take 2 years' (totally meaningless response) and the second time she called she was told that they would only talk to the CEO(because he was the one who had signed all the paperwork) - This doesn't make sense either.

Have any of you had similar experience? Since SESA is processing 9/14/01 as of today, if they are going strictly by that date, they should've gotten to my case by now. What is going on? I know that official communication re. tfr to DOL does take some time but I thougt we should be able to check status over the phone. I am quite anxious.. if you guys know anything, please respond

I looked again at my EDD receipt, and my case number is definitely 1396xx, with PD of 10/1/2001.

One more of EDD/DOL mysteries, I guess.

I had exactly the same experience. When your case is actualy being worked on they stop giving any info. Our attorney called few times but had no luck. Finaly my papers have been returned to employer with the request for additional info ( layoffs, wages etc). Attorney said it's sort of normal nowdays and they are receiving buch of these.
They usualy submit this "additional info" promptly and SESA forwards papers to DOL w/in 5-6 weeks.
