Does the EAD processing time depend on the state one lives in or is it only based on the service center. ?

On the immigration.com there is a National 485 processing times which has the EAD time for each state and in the Vermont service center also there is one prosessing time for EAD. So i am sort of confused. Would appreciate if someone can explain.

Looks like your EAD's were processed within 15-20 days. Is this the normal time because the most of the sites claim the processing time to be between 60-90 days.

I am not sure but it looks like the EAD processing time is NOT based on state you live in as all the processing is done by VSC., so when looking for processing times you would look at VSC and not state's.

But I am not sure about the FP notice. I have seen that people who have filed after me have already received the FP notice but I am still waiting. My state is Florida.

Can someone else please throw some light on it?

EAD Approved : 6/25/02
EAD Recvd : 7/1/02

FP Notice : ??
 
Do I get different Notice of action Receipts for each category/application..?

My details:

RD: Jun/25
ND: Jun/27
Travel Decument EAC: 02-228-xxxxx.

I have applied for I-485, EAD, AP (Advance Payrol).

I got a Notice of Action for TRAVEL DOCUMENT. I belive travel document is related to AP.

My question is do I get 2 more Notice of Actions (i.e 2 more EAC numbers) each for I-485 and EAD..? Or for all my 3 applications there will be only one EAC number, whic I have already recieved.

Please answer.

Different EACs'

Hi,

You will get different EAC numbers from the Notice of Action for AOS, EAD and AP(Advance Parole), by which you can track the status of your case.

Are there any approvals at VSC. The June 2002 tracker seems to be at a stand still.
Lets hope and Pray that the approvals come soon.

I received my fingerprint notice before my EAD cards

Could anyone give me the telephone number to check the status of my 485 at Vermont

Also after ead and everything is approved how long till they approve the 485 and the greencard comes through? are they still pushing the 245i through faster than everyone else???

I got all my notices of action for all my applications (EAD, AOS, AP).

My details:

RD: Jun/23 (It is amazing 'cause we sent it on Jun/25)
ND: Jun/12
FP schedule date: Aug/15 (Indian indipendence day).

EAD:....????

FP ND : July 11th 2002.
FP Schdule Date: Aug 14th, 2002.
State : Arkansas.

are you sure that your notice date is earlier than your received date? Notice date is always after the receipt date.

Just received my FP notice today. Scheduled for Aug 20th.
However, I might go next week on a wednesday.

EAD Received 16-JUL-02 (Was Approved on 11-JUL-02
FP Notice Received on 17-JUL-02 for Appointment on 14-AUG-02
Went to INS office today, finger prints taken...

I can believe it , EAD and fingerprints finished with in 3 weeks of mailing my form.

Anyone knows, how long it is taking to get the AP document??

for your FP, did you just walk-in today (thursday)?
I thought walk-ins are on wednesday only?
I plan to do my FP next week which is way ahead of my appointment. Inputs would help.
