Message still says...'We have received I-485...'

Hi,

I received my FP notice on Jul/17. AVM still says 'We have received your I-485.....'. Same old message. It has not changed.

Well, my FP Notice date is Jul/12 not Jun/12.

AVM message not changed

Hi,

The AVM message has not changed even after I received the FP notice. It still is " We have received your 485 ....." and nothing regarding the FP.

I heard that walk-ins are only on wednesday. Do you need to call the INS office ahead, if you are going earlier than the schduled date?

It would be great if anyone could clarify on it.

My state

My State is Oklahoma,

Here I did not have to make any appointment or give a call..
I just tried to walk in and try my Luck...

It worked....

I think, its worth a try to just walk-in, if you have the time...

FBI Phone number

There is a phone number where we can to find out if our Finger prints have been cleared by FBI and sent to INS...

Can somebody please provide me with this number????

Who receives the FP notice ? Is it attorney or the applicant ?

I have my attorney’s address as my address in my 485 application.

Just heard today that my EAD was approved.
I have to go for finger printing as I already received my FP notice.
I guess its now a wait and wait and wait situation for me.

Thanks S_b_gc for your reply and does FP depend on the state where the applicant lives ?

Most of the June filers have got their FP notices with RD as of me.

Does the state where I live makes any difference for FP ?

I live in CA.

All done....Just heard the AVM message ...
Advance Payroll has been approved.....

EAD, FP and AP all done....

So will now have to wait .....

and pray.......

I also live in California. My RD is Jun/25. I got my FP notice already.

I belive FP directly come to you. It won't go to your Attorney.

I went to FP fecility before the schedule date. FP fecility was over crowded. He did not entertain me. He asked me to come back on shedule date.

I have a question I called VSC AVM yesterday and it said my application was received on June 13th and it is taking x amount of days to process my fingerprint notice has been received before ead got approved at the beginning of July my question is why has the AVM not changed the message...??????????:confused:

P. Ross,

If you check the VSC processing times now, you will see there is file maintenance part, this is the part when the Data Encoder inputs all the results from the officers. Sometimes, they are delayed with this as I did check with my AVM, which just recently changed its message. So dont worry if you got your receipt. that is enough proof for you that they are working on your case.

with regards to FP, you have to check with the ASC cuz some of them are very busy and will not accept advance FP. Much like the case for me in NJ, they will not accept advance FP. Other ASC will accept advance FP...so check around.
